Why no one invades Switzerland

Now you can understand why the murder rate is so high in Switerland, just like in Chicago.

What ????? Switzerland has one of the lowest per capita murder rates in the world.

Why are we picking on the Swiss, with guys like the clown in Venezuela, and Iran running their mouths. Plus the Swiss make fine watches, and have for ever. It was a Swiss Omega Speedmaster that was the only watch that worked in space during the infant days of space investigation. The US and Soviets both used them. It didn't change a thing.

You forgot chocolate and the fine variety of swiss brand cheeses, trying to differentiate from traditional swiss.

What do they need a watch in space for? Just gotta say "Houston, what time is it?"

I live smack dab in the middle of an area settled by the Swiss. They have lots of great sounding names, like Habegger, Diller, Basinger, Hilty, Welty, Liechty, Badertscher, Augsburger, Amstutz, Bixel, Lehman, Geiger, Yoder, Burkholder(my favorite), Gratz. . . My wife-to-be is 100% Swiss, also.

Unfortunately serious gun-ownership among these Americans of Swiss extraction is somewhat lacking these days -need to get them back in the fold. Good for the folks in the old country for maintaining their heritage.

P.S. Forgot to mention that my sister-in-law, also 100% Swiss from this area, is a third cousin to Ben Roethlisberger(another great Swiss name), the quarterback.

I REALLY like the Swiss freedom-oriented attitude. And never forget that they are a true democracy. When their government makes a mistake, they always have the opportunity to overrule it by referendum. How many democracies give that kind of power to their citizens?
