For those of you with multiple pairs of ivories, what will you do? Sell them now? Keep them on guns that you will never sell, but leave to friends or family members? Ignore the law and sell them later (I don't guess too many will admit to this publicly, wouldn't be real smart I guess). Any other ideas as to what to do with them?

I hadn't given the issue much thought, but your post prompted me to look for more related info. I found a page with relevant links covering both current and proposed regulations, along with pointer toward advocacy groups. The info is locate on a reputable ivory dealer's web site. I've bought from them previously, but have no affiliation (past or present) beyond that of customer. Just passing along the info.

Ivory Ban Information

Six months ago I had my Mdl 10 out in a hard rain. My grips turned all sudsy and melted. I have to whittle a new pair. :D

Does this mean that I am in danger of being stopped and brought in for questioning because these micarta grips look like antique ivory.

What? Me worry? Much ado about nothing, methinks.
