You know you are getting old, when..

When you look in the mirror this morning and see a giant bruise on your elbow, and have no idea what you did to put it there!

Went to bed on Sunday feeling fine. Woke up Monday and I somehow twisted my left knee in the night. Spent 2 days resting it and using heat. Still not fully right.
You know, when I was younger, I used to wish things hurt less. Now, I just wish less things hurt.

You buy your seventeen year old son some dress shoes to go with his new first real business suit and the cashier says to him, "So are you going to thank Grandpa?"

We had a big drug bust and I called in the K9 crew to give it a once over.

One of the handlers, in his late twenties, came over to me and asked my name. I told him and he stated "Oh yeah, you went through the academy with my grandad. He said to say hey!"

Yep, it was time to retire.

I got old at a very young age... when I picked my son up at daycare and the "lady" said "Hey your grandpa is here to pick you up..." had to correct the young thing, I was only 34 started going grey at 20.. made her squirm first...

I had that happen once picking up my son from his after school care. I came by it naturally, though. I was only 42 when he was born, so I really was old enough to be his grandpa.

When you find out an old person you know is YOUNGER than you.
