If I didn't live acroos the lake and in the direct path of fallout , I'd wish an atom bomb on the place instead.

Oh how I'm shedding big tears chicago didn't get the bid. I feel so sorry for all the corruption that won't happen, the pay backs that won't get paid back, the "one's" cronies who won't be able to steal millions if not billions of dollars, the union bosses who won't be able to scam millions more in bogus overtime, cost overruns and probably a thousand other corrupt things that won't get done.
The next czar is going to have to be the "The FAIL CZAR" Thankfully this administration can't do much right.
There is apparently quite a tangled web in chicago concerning the Olympics. Beck, Malkin and others were talking about it yesterday on the radio.

As a taxpayer in another state I am glad... we won't have to bail out yet another disaster or an event that does not meet someone Else's idea of profitability...

How the various networks are covering, or not covering, this is very instructive. On PMSNBC it's being treated like the end of the world.
Good for Rio. With there never having been an Olympics in South America before, it's about time. And the rotten machine in Chicago doesn't deserve a dime.

Good, Chi-town spent $100 million on their failed boondoggle and now neither Daley or the messiah can get there fingers on another single dime. There is justice in that somewhere.
I flipped over to that channel just to see, and Andrea Mitchell was whining on and on about it and going "we'll have to wait to talk to the judges to find out just why they didn't pick Chicago and what influenced their decision."
And all I could think of was: "YOU LOSE. GOOD DAY, SIR!"
Well, rumor has it (via Glenn Beck) that it cost the US Taxpayer $1.2 million to fly Obama over there on Air Force One.
Talk about a fleecing of America.
