Capful of Cacade and 30min Sani-rinse wash cycle. No-Heat drying cycle must be used to avoid temperature exposure damage to delicate polymer barrel rifling and magazine shrinkage. I found out the hard way... only holds 23 rounds now. On the plus side, the rate of twist has increased to 1 in 15 from 1 in 16. This should help when I start using heavier bullets during my next range visit.

Keep us posted. I'd like to know if there's that much change each time in, or if it settles down...
I'm going to try the polymer-safe spray crud-cutters to see how they work. Might be a quick way to get rolling again.

I have seen some Birchwood products advertising they are safe for polymer, but I have yet to try them. Though, I've never had to work much at cleaning the inside of polymer frames such as my Glocks, Ruger 22/45, or when I had my Walther G22. Just a very light spray of Rem oil on a rag and some Q-tips is the method I have used to wipe the gunk off.
When cleaning my 1911s, I'm pretty liberal with both the Breakfree solvent and the cleaner/lubricant sprays. (I'm lazy)
If I thought I could get away with that type of cleaning on polymer without a problem I would do it. So if you get some of the safe-for-polymer product, I'd be interesd to know what you think about it.
I am extremly disapointed.....I shot my brand new MP-22 today....and on the first clip I fired about 10 shots....then heard a louder then normal pop....and what seemed like a mini explosion....came out of the ejector....so I popped out the clip....and there was a spent bullet that had the side of the brass blown out.....on all the ten previous shots.....I looked at the spent shells....and all them looked like the side was bulged.
I called customer service.....and was greeted by a luke warm represenative.......that was like oh well...just send it in. ....Now I will be out of my gun for 3 weeks atleast....while I send it in

Ouch I feel you man, my rifle is in for repairs also. Gander Mountain has been a pain in the ass for me. 
I was useing remmington. I will send it in...and if its fixed in a timely manner...I will be happy....but what a disapointment after spending $400 plus tax....on a .22....and for it to malfuntion this fast.
As a pryor poster said they need to get there head out of there arse. Do they not test fire these weapons. O n a side note...I went to look at there stock after this.....and there stock is in a nosedive for the last 4 months while the markets are flying.....I smell a recall.

I'm sorry to hear about your M&P 22 issues… I took mine out yesterday and shot another 150 rounds through it without the slightest hitch (Federal bulk). This afternoon I finished installing a JP trigger/hammer kit to match the same trigger on my AR's and I'm anxious to give that a try this weekend (I left in the original OEM hammer spring to be sure there was plenty of hammer strike to hit the rimfire rounds).

sounds good, keep us updated on how you like the trigger, your the first i know of that changed theres out on the 15-22.

Another problem 15-22 using Remington ammo. Well, your rifle gets to take a ride on the FedEx truck.
What part(s) broke?
Keep us posted on how the JP trigger does for you. I put a Rock River two stage in mine. Much better than OE.

Hey wake1021 I had the exact same thing happen to mine. While firing my 15-22 I heard a louder than normal bang and then it wouldn't fire. When I pulled back the charging handle the extractor was missing and two other parts fell out. I also noticed that a spent casing remained in the barrel. I was using CCI ammo. It's back at S&W for repairs right now. However, the customer service rep I spoke to was very helpful and the return process was quite simple (and free of charge). If they send me a free mag or something I'll be happy.

There's a profile difference between Rem and Fed. See attached pic.
IMO, the magazine is a bit too snug for the Rem bullet, so the bullet does not fully lift into position for proper feeding. If you put 10rnds of Rem into a mag, and pull down on the thum assist, then slowly let the rounds move up you'll see that the next round quite often does not lift into position for feeding unless you pull down and then let the magazine snap up... and even then they don't always left into position. I think that's the starting point for the feeding issues and 'out of battery experiences'...

Shot about 200 rounds of CCI Mini-mag 40g round-nose bullets, and had about 8 mis-feeds/jams/bent rounds. Alternatively, shot a bunch of Aquila and Federal bulk ammo with no failures. Also...get this: shot about 75 rounds of Remington bulk ammo with only 2 FTF (both ammo-caused). Go figure. I think I'm going to call S&W to send it back again. Ugh. Don't mind but am unhappy that it is not as perfect as others' on this forum. Our Walther P22 LOVES the CCI Mini-mags, so this would be a good thing for the MP22 to eat them properly...
Edit: the jacked-up cases had dents in the side...strange to me. ***?

Mine shoots Mini Mags well, but accuracy with them sucks. Be happy that yours, as mine, likes the cheap stuff.

Mine does not like Mini-Mags. That's fine w-me, they are 1/2 again more $ than the Winchester 333 boxes that mine loves. Another CCI prob I have is those plastic trays they come in, they are handy for keeping track of rounds fired, but get on a rough road for awhile and listen to the damn rounds rattle in there...
Why not just shoot Fed bulk and Aquila and avoid the acid indigestion?
