I was just wondering, who besides me carries a Smith on duty?

When I told him to get stronger and not miss the target he filed a complaint....such are the young recruits of today.
I have been debating adding about 5-6 different style autos to the firearms training program and making it mandatory to pass a "manual of arms" course. Ever see a rookie try and check the chamber on a gun recovered in a search? Or make it safe? Like monkey (you know what-ing) a football.
I'm glad there are more like me out there. I'm the last of 3500 still carrying a S&W 3rd gen. on duty... I keep a 10.5" Colt Commando in the trunk, but in my personal opinion, nothing gets compliance better than a large frame S&W Auto and a shorty shotgun. It's too bad really that there aren't more S&W steel framed pistols in use with law enforcement. I had a recruit shoot my 4506 and complain it was too heavy and only held eight rounds. When I told him to get stronger and not miss the target he filed a complaint....such are the young recruits of today.
