I carry a Smith & Wesson 1911 as primary duty weapon; a model 38 airweight on the ankle; a 681 as the seat gun (coyotes and such), and my patrol rifle is a Smith & Wesson AR 15 (311000).
All S&W for 34 1/2 years: Models 28, 64, 65, two 66s, 67, two 686s, 669, 6906, 3913, and a Shield 9. I've always liked variety, and never could turn down a trade for something interesting!
Retired but still work special events. 4506 or 4506-1 depending. ancient (Fathers) model 19 .357 as a back-up. Lucky enough to carry what I want. Last year even pulled out the 4" 586. Was surprized to see how many current officers had never even fired a revolver or even carried a back-up. I'm not that old either just started young.
