Feinstein will introduce the new and improved gun ban Thursday.

This one includes required registration of scary looking guns. Scary looking this time includes ONE "military style feature."

We will have to see exactly what is proposed on Thursday, but from the summary, it looks like a 10/22 with an adjustable stock will be defined as a scary looking rifle.

I know everyone is tired of this; but that is what they are counting on. Call and email all of your representatives, even those you have already called and gotten responses from.

Email auto responders are easy to set up. Phone calls are difficult to ignore.

So the 5 dollar China **** 'military' looking front grip will be a danger :D

I heard thumbhole stocks may be on that list, those damn turkey hunters, now they've done it!

Bring it, Feinstein. I call your bluff and will be watching THOMAS and GovTrack very, very closely followed by voicing my eloquent disapproval to the elected officials in my State.

In the next few weeks the anti gun/anti 2nd Amendment forces will be doing their level best to make us look like extremists. That is how they work, it is a tactic that Chuckie Schumer and Diane Feinstein use regularly to prove their point to the less informed that "only extremists want these kinds of weapons". Don't give them an opportunity to exploit that political tool, turn it on them and let them sound extreme.

exactly! they are the extremists, they are the ones that have no regard for the 2A and rights of the citizens of the United States.

I wonder why her bill was pushed back until thrusday, it was first reported that the bill would be introduced on 1-22 ( Tuesday )

Probably to add magazine pinky extensions to that list. They look kinda scary. You have a mag and then something attached to the bottom of that mag thats black and protrudes a little....thats gotta be bad. Plus some older European guns have a built in metal extension that could poke a child's eye out. With an eye patch that poor child will be made fun off in school, he or she wont get picked to play on a school team where everyone will get a trophy just for putting their sneakers on the correct feet, everyone but that kid, that is! With low self esteem this child will have to go on meds which one day he will forget to take and realize that the world is not all pokadots and unicorns at which time he or she (at this point its most likely a he) will go and buy a evil rifle with large clips of many projectiles, find the nearest gun safe zone or a place where the people cant fight back (school, circus, hospital, mime school, movie theater, mall...etc..etc..) and unleash his anger towards the world.

Just think, all this could have been avoided if it wernt for those evil pinky extensions!

Every time I read one of these I start thinking about Americans with disabilities and how they need some of the dreaded features, thumbholes, pistol grips, etc. to be able to enjoy the sport. I wonder if a smart lawyer can challenge some of this foolishness under the ADA?

That is an EXCELLENT idea!

Yes, your right...she should have been voted out a long, long, long time ago... you have the unwilling, uncaring, want something for nothing, politically correct, let the government take care of us, voters... people who are on the public teat, that shouldn't have a vote to begin with...

Thanks those from the Peoples Republic of Commiefornia.!!!!!!!!!!

I e-mailed Feinstein to tell her I support her ban.

I glanced at the bill and stopped to ponder a single term used there in...
Guns having a "bullet button" qualify as "assault weapons"
exactly what in Gods good name is a bullet button
I've handled and fired all sorts of guns to include ones I KNOW are illegal and have yet to see or hear of a bullet button.
For the love of all that is good and holy I hope this dingbat isnt referring to the trigger ... but she probably is

I think they meant belly button. You wouldn't want one of those to fall into the wrong hands.

bullet button is for ejecting the magazine but you need a tool "bullet" in order to eject the magazine. It makes it so you can't "quick change" the magazine.

Just wait

Wait until they start on the list of Sniper Rifles

(Yup, I remember the last time this got rolling).
