Today went good.
The sp101 is a 16th over 3" by their numbers, so I thought I'd make sure.
I'm eager to see your October submission, good luck too.
There was actually two other snubbies at the 25yrd mark today; one shooter had a last gen Colt Det Spec and another had a SW model 638.

Yeah, I screwed up and deleted them and a bunch of others. I'm starting to run out of space on my photo hosting and accidentally flushed those...which sucks, they were pretty good.HMMMM, more disappearing pics......

I just wanted to play.
Usually if I remember to shoot lefty, it is a cylinder or two but today I shot my 442 Pro and my 642 NL at 7 yards mostly lefty. I was shooting my six inch 617 at the 25 yd target in the background.
This was my best group shooting lefty and actually I was surprised I did this well.
My girls wanted to show off their prom dresses.
I shot righty on a different day. Those pics are on my phone and I am working on getting those to download. Right now take my word that I shot 10 shots at 7 yds with my 442 Pro two handed free standing hold to a 2 5/8 inch group. I hope to get photo proof up here soon.
It was fun to play but I will admit that my left hand was sore the next day. I definitely found it worthwhile to shoot lefty and will make sure to practice more that way.

I added the group size left and right. He beat my butt and I entered 3 times!
Honarable mention for Matt2009 and Tom Turner. Both entered but I needed a 10 shot group left hand and right hand. Thanks for playing, I had fun and hope you all did too.
Ridgewalker, you were in the running. you had a 4 7/8" group. 6.97 for both was the smallest. If we could see your RH target, I could at least add them up.
I lost by .0925" Not much. Glad everybody entered.

Here is my October entry:
I did better for accuracy on the bullseye with some of my earlier groups but always had a flyer. I think 7 1/8" is an acceptable 25 yard 10 shot group with my little 649.
I realized the measuring tape is covering a couple holes so I wanted to show my entire 10 shot group.

I shot 5 11/16" today using the laser sight on my 637 with some kind of 38 lrn. 25 yards. I will try again next week.

OK... I'll try it (for fun only) this weekend... the only range I use is 50' (17 yards). Hardly matters... I can hardly see that far!

Hi Folks,
We are getting near the end of October and there is a noticeable lack of entries. I am not sure what to make of that.
Let's see a few more entries before the end of the month. 25 yds is tough with a short barrel. The most important thing is to play. Who cares who wins.

Last place is mine!!! Bwhahahaha.
Part of my excuse is .38 special has been kind of hard to find around here and I was shooting 120gr. and it was shooting 3" high an 2" to the right and that's with my flinch at 10 yards.
So here it is. 8rds with 15" of spread, no idea where the other two are.
