Took the wife out for breakfast this morning when the winds were
then a calm 35-45 mph.
Open my menu and see this on special.
Maple/Bacon Sundae. Two scoops of Vanilla covered in Maple
syrup and Bacon.

Been trying lately to eat healthier. I think my Heart will thank
me later for taking a pass this time.....
Maybe i should lay off the Bacon Birthday cakes and Pies....

I had a wacky experience at the Y today.
I met a fan of my video channel.
He likes it more for the hiking videos and wants to walk some of the trails on my channel.
Also, he likes my leatherwork videos.
I always figured that most people'd find watching leatherworking dead boring.

Probably star struck... :)

I tried to take a nap. The blasted wind blew me out of bed.

A tree, 4 blocks over, came down trapping a woman inside her car.The FD cut her out and she is OK.

I have two large limbs that have split and are hanging precariously in the back yard. It's a real howler out there. It's heading WSW so Paul, if you inherit some sand colored awnings, call me.

No problem. They will match my place just fine.

Went to a "sportsman's tagsale" this A.M.
Lots of fishing stuff. I wasn't there for fishing stuff.
I didn't find any sportsmen for sale there, either.
Bought a hunk of smoked cheese.
Bought a couple-a books on game cookin'.
You know. "Braized Yatzee", "Baked Monopoly with Orange Glaze".
That's about what I'll be doin' unless I start preparing for this year's deer season.

walkinghorse, I'm having the same issue with my "post" window.
One word. Annoying!

To keep you people back east informed 😋 ;
Indiana - Wind is still blowing a gale here in Iowa, so the end may be a while for you! 😛
CT.- Can't spell it, so hope the abbreviation is OK? Posting stretching appears over here?
Can't help with your recipes, cause if it isn't pork tenderloin, or cooked in a roaster
pulled pork, I have to wait till the next pot luck dinner! Wife just gave me a dirty look,
how do wife's sense these things? 💆 👽

Watching Mogambo on TCM. There is a thread in the lounge about rifles and actors and actresses in the movie, so as a sign I decided it was time to see what it was about?
Actresses dine in short evening gowns, pearl necklaces , with fine china, and silverware.
Clark Cable, women lust after him, men want to be him! 😎 Natives line up to throw spears at him, but none can hit him??? 😙 Now ivory poachers try to get them! Looks like the Masai are waving spears and chanting!!!
I think spell check, grammar check, or whatever it is was designed by the modern educational system, you know math everything but + - × ÷ =, worry about teaching Chinese, Spanish, etc. but can't master English unless it is some version of EubPC, and government wants to make it easy on them, so they can receive $15 per hour??? 😭

Did you know the U.S. Army Air Corps flew de Havilland Mosquitos?

De Havilland DH98 Mosquito TA614 of the OSS controlled 801st-492nd Bombardment Group "The Carpetbaggers". Probably taken at their base AAF-179 - Harrington, England. Used for receiving Joan Eleanor wireless transmissions from OSS field agents in enemy territory and nicknamed "Red stocking" missions.

Leather working videos boring? No way! I saw this one video & this woman had a whip, & she......could you possibly be talking about a different kind of video? Never mind......:o

Wind here steady at 35+ with gusts over 50. Big red oak trees in front of my apartment. Hmmm.

Changing subject, I have never photographed my food. I will never photograph my food. You see one sack of White Castles (with mustard) and you've seen them all. What I cook myself is very tasty but sometimes looks recycled. And why the colloidal hell would I want people I don't know to see what I'm eating?

As you were.

Don't bother saluting, I'll be in the area all day.
