Wifey and I went to the Semi State baseball tournament this
afternoon to watch a friends son compete. They lost 7-4

It was 92 and humid as all get out. Game started at 1 PM
Snubby Weather !!!!

Got back home after a late lunch at Bob Evans (home of the grey/blue
hairs), but wifey likes their food.

And now sitting around in the air conditioning, ala Bigride style.....
No pants!!!.................. Well, shorts and Tshirt.
Oh what i'd give to have 75 degrees and no humidity "year round".

Drove the Crown Vic to the game and at one point on I-70
i had traffic in 3 lanes backed up behind me for quarter mile.
I was running 70mph (posted speed limit).
I'd look in the rearview and then chuckle to the wife.

Who knows ?? Maybe i kept somebody from a bad wreck by
driving too fast and dangerously. Haha

Purchasing a 2 person Kayak Sunday. Wifey wants to try it
out. Lots of nice smaller Lakes around here that are State
owned and good fishing.

Opening another amber ale (Fat Tire) and heading out back
to the patio to watch the birds.

Have a nice weekend everybody.

I like your style dude.

Don't know the details, all I heard was that when it was plugged in it exploded?
So I tend to believe an arc flash occurred when the wet cord met the power cord. Didn't say if he experienced an electrical shock during this event?
Nothing on those campsite electrical posts or in the trailers themselves have GFI's unless they're in the kitchen or bathroom. I' sure it should have tripped a breaker. ;)

Man that's scary.
I will not mess with electrical, period.
Outside of changing a light bulb etc....
I don't know enough about it and my life
is worth a service call.
Hope the gentleman recovers fully and
thanks for the heads-up Lok.

Been watching super-regional games in the run-up to the college baseball world series. Seeing a lot of kids with the potential to make the majors, including some brilliant young pitchers.

What I'm really waiting for is the Little League World Series, my favorite sporting event of the year. I'm sure some of the little guys have dreams of playing in the bigs, but they're playing now for the love of the game, and learning sportsmanship.

When I took electronics back in the stone ages, I was working on a television set. forget what the problem was but I trace it to the high voltage rectifier.
The high voltage rectifier tube had a cap on it and unbeknownst to me my lab partner had plugged the television in.
High voltage arced right through my finger to the television chassis. You could smell the burning flesh.
I said some bad words, he apologized. I'm still not sure if it really was an accident.

Did not have to even click on Big Fig now
Ooey Gooey Chewy on the inside... running a loop in my head.
Thanks, Snubby.

Visited the lighthouse on the east side of Sanibel then headed to the other end of the island to Bowman's beach. While heading for the latter Mrs. N snagged a sandal on a loose board and tweaked her recent knee job. Set her in a shady spot, some ice and my sweat rag gave her some relief while I hit the water. High sky and hot, the waters of the Gulf were warm but felt soooo gooood! The Yuengling or three (not bad in a can) helped.

A quick sojourn to The Fish House for shrimp and corn chowder, steamers and a Pina Coloda applied to my wife's knee was timely then back to the hotel pool for a final cool down. Quick supper of hot roast beef and 'Murican cheese sandwiches in the room, just not up for the stroll to the Square where the happenings are happening tonight.
Fine by me, if I can't lay low for a night while on vacation, what's the point?

There are two people of high notoriety that while I respect them for their positions, they do make laugh! :D

Did anyone see this picture of the Queen today? Check out the color of her hat and dress!
What were they going to do, set her out as a traffic cone later on ? :D
She wore that so she'd be sure everyone got to see her out and about on her birthday!

90 years old,,,God bless her! ;)

The second person that really tears me up is the Pope! He just seems so down to earth and like he's no one special?, and pulls up in front of the White House in Fiat! :D
