I'm pooped:

Got allot done today.

I also Posted a bunch of nonsense. Literally stupid stuff. I wonder if this heat is taking a toll on the normal side of my pea brain? No cool days insight. So I guess more stupid babble ahead? Just ignore my stupidness. Wifey says, I think I'm funny? And no one else does. So PLEASE forgive me.

I hope everyone else had a nice and normal day. And they also got allot done.

Again, SORRY for the stupidity!

Have A Great Rest Of The Evening!

SW MP15,
Keep em' coming. I enjoy your posts and find it refreshing
for folks to keep it real or go completely bonkers.
It's the variety on here that keeps me coming back.

No apologies needed.

I'm gonna follow Skeptic 9c's lead and hit the frog and toad. My wife and I are heading north to visit our Son, Daughter In Law and Grand Son. We will be travelling from Perth to past Mount Tom Price, little over 1,000 miles. If we come across hordes of Emu massing I will report back via secure comms, either that or I will just dig in and stare them down with a trusty 617.

Stay safe crossing the outback there FastFossil,

In addition to Emu you have to watch your six for these guys.

Another doctors appointment in the can! Now I need to get my nose rebored and internally straightened! That will get done after vacation, not dealing with nose troubles during vacation! ;)
Now we're in retirement village campground, just finished a fantastic cheeseburger which I could smell just fine with my broken nose! Had an ice cold......Coke,,, thought I was going to say beer, nope thirsty for a Coke! Things & cheeseburgers go better with Coke! :D
Another day that the contractor was not working on the deck, due to a broken screw gun? The wife is quite upset and wants this done by the Fourth of July, next time she picks the contractor! ;)

Lok,

Hope you get your Nose straightened out soon.:):)
Sounds like quite the process coming up.

Best of luck getting that deck done soon.
Contractors around here that i have used always seem
to have too many irons in the fire at once. Running from
job to job and getting NOBODY done.:mad:

Good morning all. At this early hour in Houston it is 80 degrees, the relative humidity is 87%, the winds are calm, and the heat index is 85. Pleasant morning for a bit of a walk. I think I'll roast up some dead chicken parts for lunch today. I have a Hawaiian Luau Pool Party to make an appearance at late in the afternoon. There's a 40% chance it will get rained on, so I'll just plan on only having a beer and finger food there. It's about time for me to hit the road in search of physical fitness and hordes which may threaten mankind. I'll be ready for a big glass of iced tea and a shower when I get back. Each of you have a great day!

Morning all. I still didn't get my boat yesterday. I went there in the afternoon and he was still installing gauges. He was going to stay last night until it was done so I can pick it up this morning. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have the right prop pitch but he thinks so. I'll try it then call him to order the right pitch. At least I'll be back on the water.

Good afternoon all, Quiet and relaxing day here at the campsite!
Had a WiFi outage here since last night, couldn't read the paper this morning! Had a brief rain shower pass through which may have been the cause.
How did we ever go camping with out these modern conveyances? :)

Good morning drifters it's 101 at 09:50 here in the desert. Hope every one has a good Saturday.

No hordes have been encountered but that doesn't mean they aren't around. The emu are always dressed for the desert so have to be watched for but the penguin are always in their finest suits and not really prepared for the desert environment.

Yes, drinking beer out of a tin cup. How primitive! :(

After seeing the primitive beer drinking picture, I decided I'd have a lunch time libation in the primitive way out of a modern tin cup.

Then I remembered a picture of me taken in March 1987 at the Buckhorn Hall of Horns in the old Pearl/Lone Star Brewery in San Antonio. I had a Lone Star that day too. The Buckhorn Hall of Horns was a go to place for me when I was in San Antonio and had extra time. Me and a moose. I'm the one with the brand new wedding ring on.

I think I need to drink that beer now.

Cheers!
