The wife wanted to go a couple of counties over to the annual watermelon festival here in South Georgia. There wasn't much happening there...mostly vendors, trinkets, and unusual foods-kettle corn, gator on a stick, etc. A dozen or so vintage car guys there with their toys, a southern rock trio, and a lot of fat people walking around. I fit right in.
We walked around and I met a leather smith from my area as well as a hobby carpenter. I saw a T-shirt vendor and this one made me laugh. I don't know who that ugly guy is...he held the shirt out so my wife could snap the pic.

The wife liked this one.

Stopped at Striplings to look around. They are a local grocery chain that sells custom cut meats. They make their own sausage and do their own smoking. Beautiful bacon, etc.-sorry, no pics.

Another T-shirt.

Lunch at Pacho's Mexican restaurant and then headed home. In the middle of nowhere we came across a large, gated property that had several items of interest for the passerby's. I stopped to say hello to some friends. I'm the ugly one at the bottom squinting because I'm too stupid to pull down my shades.

When you're driving through miles of planted pines and scattered houses and suddenly see this ^^^ on the side of the road, it'll make you take note and question what you're seeing! The better half thought they were real people. I turned around and she snapped the pic.

I won't show y'all his sign so as not to violate the rules, but it was good. I don't know who lives here, but I think I would like him.
A nice little outing, some good food, and a few humorous moments.
