Gee, maybe I'm not crazy. I also shoot more accurately with my compacts than my 4" and 5" 3rd Gens. But only in the 7 to 15yd area. With the exception of my CS9, have a bit of trouble with it for some reason. Plus what puzzles me is that I group better with my 4513TSW than my 3913. I figured it...

My guess is that your collection won't stop at 4.....I know mine didn't!!!

Yes, they made a nickel 439. I have original box with mine. It has a "N" under finish on the label. You are correct.....they are a beautiful pistol.....almost like a piece of jewelry......

Chestnut ridge had a TSW non railed with box, papers, mags....very clean looking.....$425.00. I thought you might have been the lucky one that got to it before me.

I'll join this party.....This beauty is my nightstand companion. Can't make myself remove the rail, so I added the Streamlight and use her for home defense. In the meantime, I'll continue to look for a non-railed for carry. On another note, how do I post the larger, non thumbnail type pictures?

I wish S&W would offer it with ambi safety for us southpaws......then maybe ad that new sexy round butt like on the new 'E' series.....that might put my 3913 in the safe.

I have the same problem with mine, but this is the first laser for me. Having only fired a handful of rounds with the laser, I know I have a lot learn. On the other hand, in a real life self defence situation, I don't see the laser coming into play.

Mine gets a little stiff at the 5 o'clock area. Just keep rotating it around....have to go past 6 o'clock for the pin to come out.

I picked this one up last spring. Seller said he never fired it...looks and feels like new....paid 400.00 for mine. Not sure what they're worth, but is priceless in my mind.....enjoy.

Finally got my new EAB to the range today.....100 rounds of Winchester white thru it with out any problem. Very first mag at 7 yards, all 6 rounds in the red. I'm not too crazy about the laser operation, not sure how much I'll use it. Might try a little white paint on the front sight to help...

Did they make the 1911SC with an ambi. safety?????
