I have both in my 9L core. The reset is better with the RAM than without but not as good as my Glocks with Zev fulcrum triggers. The FSS trigger is really good and is better than the Zev trigger(IMHO) and almost as good as my SA RO with a 3lb trigger job.

I just called S&W customer support and they shipped out a set at no charge.....

The RAM helps with the feel of the reset but doesn't make the reset that much louder. For me, the feel is what is most helpful for double taps etc. check with Apex if you do have a RAM as there new versions of the springs and they sent me an updated on last week.

I carried my G26 for about 6 months then I got a shield 9mm. I carry that 100% of the time now. My G26 and 19 are backup guns now. I added a G34 that I'm going to shoot idpa with. My next gun is going to be a VP9 or PPQ.....Not another M&P.

I have the orange front HD's on my Glock 19, yellow fronts on my Glock 26 and my Shield. They are great for night shooting. I'll probably change out the yellows for orange on my G26 and Shield down the road as the Orange is better suited for day shooting.

I just bought some 8 round 9mm mags for my Shield and I couldn't get more than 6 rounds in it. The mag had 2 followers in it. S&W Q/C has gone waaay down hill. If you can't get a mag right, imagine the stuff that happens to a firearm!

I took 9mmjld's advice and looked on Amazon. I found a set for a bit over $150. They do make them for the shield but they are hard to find. Most places have them backordered and Amazon was the only place that I could find a set. I bought them and got them in 2 days. Here is a link to the...

I always carry the 8 round magazines. The only way I can use the 7's is with a Pearce pinkie extender and with that magazine, it conceals about the same as with an 8 round magazine, Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I've got Trijicon HD's on all my other carry guns and would like to put some on my Shield. Anyone know where I can find them? They seem to be back ordered everywhere. I guess that's a good sign for S&W as the Shield seems to be out selling every other single stack 9(just a guess).
