I have read about this 645 pistol, customized by Novak's 45 Shop in Parkersburg WV, but I've never seen the details of the package. Nor have I ever seen a photo of a Novak's full House 645.

As I understand it, Novaks improved the trigger in both DA and SA. They also fitted a match grade barrel. Anyone know what else the "Full House" package entailed? Is this package still available?

Anyone own one of these or have some pics? Regards 18DAI

I bought the second 645 that showed up in the Cincinnati area in January 1986. Shortly thereafter, I send it off to Wayne Novak for some custom work. He put in a Patridge front sight, Novak rear sight, polished the sides of the slide, slicked up the trigger, added a safety lever on the right side (I'm left handed), installed a trigger stop and added checkered wood grips. Later, I had him convert the gun to what was later called a Model 745 (single action semi-auto). Still later, I removed the single action parts and restored it to the factory SA/DA functioning. Still have the gun, but haven't shot it for quite some time.
I don't know how this work relates to the above stated "Full House" package, but thought you might find it interesting.

I HAD SOME TROUBLE OPENING THESE PICS BUT ONE FEATURE I FOUND INTERESTING.....

I PERSONALIZED A COLT GOLD CUP NM, FOR USE AS MY EDC, MOSTLY WITH PARTS FROM WILSON COMBAT. AT MY DIRECTION, MY 'SMITH SLICKED UP MY TRIGGER, AND SERRATED THE MUZZLE END OF MY SLIDE, WITH THE SAME NUMBER AND AT THE SAME ANGLE, OF THE SERRATIONS ON THE BACK OF MY SLIDE......

DESPITE THE BEAUTIFUL WORK DONE ON THE FRONT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD, AND THE FRONT OF THE GRIP FRAME---NOVAK DID NOT SERRATE THE FRONT OF HIS SLIDE.......

Intriguing. I've never seen one... but the idea of getting my 645 "tuned" has occurred to me.

Last I heard, Novak's wasn't working on 3rd gens anymore. Is that still the case?

(Well, I guess the 645 is technically a 2nd gen--with a 3rd-gen bushing)

I ran into two off them at a gun show about 6 or 7 years ago they were Novac guns in the 400 to 500 range I should have got one . I did pick up a mint 645 later gun for 399 at a gun shop some time ago , picked up about 6 mags and some vintage holster for it but never fire it .

Great lookin gun. I'm sure it shoots just as good. I really like the sights. The ramp sight is certainly classic, but really do accentuate the lines of the pistol. Looks like the kinda beveled some of the edges as well

Yeah.... That is one of the stated changes... bevels all the sharp edges,
