Kevin's (wood714) mom is 85 and fell last night and fractured her hip for the fourth time. She laid all night not being able to get to a phone. The next morning someone heard her yelling for help and they had to use a pry bar to gain entry. They just transferred her from a local hospital to a trauma hospital in Orlando which is 100 miles from Kevin.

He will find out more tomorrow about what they are going to do.

A prayer or kind word would go far as she is in pain and Kev has a lot on his heart and mind right now.

This is a scenario that my gf constantly worries about with her mum (93), although she does have an emergency beacon she can use. Sandra is only about 75 miles away "as the crow flies" but crows don't have to deal with international borders, mandatory PCR tests and ferries!
