Aim to maim, 22 short

When at the club, watching certain members shoot .22 cal, I do know they could stop and bring down any threat.
Sure, but they fiddle and fuss and need the pre-requisite 5 minute prep time to do it. Our local club participates in a bullseye league and it's fun watching the bullseye guys with their "carry" guns "practicing" like for a bullseye match. We run an "off duty" PPC series over the winter so I get to watch these guys completely fall apart shooting a B-27 target that's closer and has a bigger X zone than the whole bull on their 50 ft bullseye target.

Yes they can hit a bullseye target under controlled circumstances but even the still generous PPC time limits have them coming unglued and, relatively speaking, that's barely even minor stress.
