Six security guards? I'm assuming they were small guys.[emoji84]

The sofa hogs grew to a group of about a dozen people when they got into full swing. I believe some of the participants were under age as well. And they were getting pretty loud.

Just pretend this is hwitty.

I'm home again. I do not like this hospital much. They took my wife out for dialysis at 9:30 am. She did not get back to the room until 4:00 p.m. She just laid around for 2 hours waiting on "transport" to wheel her back to her room. She hadn't eaten in nearly 2 days. Her lunch, delivered at noon, sat in her room for 4 hours while she was at dialysis. She is getting stronger but her body has not kicked in from the surgery and disruption.

The attending surgeons stopped by to see my wife this morning. They said that the kidney they removed was about the size of a loaf of bread. It was not healthy.

I want to get her out of there. She has a roommate that is REALLY loud and is obviously drug seeking...when she is not snoring. She was so out of it so bad today that they couldn't perform her surgery because she couldn't wake up enough to respond to the surgeons.

Well, I have dumped on you guys enough. I know others are going through the same...and worse. Two drifters dealing with nephrectomies on the same day. I am praying for you all as well. That's one thing I can sure do while I am waiting.

Good night all. Peace to you all.

Just pretend this is hwitty.

Well the temp has dropped from 107 to 86 so far this evening but it's going back to over 100 again tomorrow. Summer is coming.

Listened to the music posts on here today and it amazes me how a young person can play that way. I have trouble playing the radio.

Computer problem turned out to be with my ISP. Everything normal today.

Had an ultrasound of the arteries in my legs today. Interesting and uncomfortable experience. A blood pressure cuff on each arm, four on each leg, and one on each big toe. Some of the leg cuffs were pretty damn painful when really cranked up.

Being old is such fun. Tired tonight and not thrilled by the test results, but what the hell, I'm 78. Things wear out and clank up.

I'm awake early this morning. I guess I don't want to miss any
Friday the 13th. I've got to work on putting new molding around the kitchen today after the new floor. I also have to mow the lawn, it's almost long enough to bale. I had our washer & dryer in the garage where I couldn't get the lawn mower out. Good luck and prayers to you Bigride.

Thinking of you and Candi this morning, br. You are blessed with great faith and a wonderful perspective. I pray for the very best outcome for the both of you.

To all my friends in the Drift, I hope you have a restful and enjoyable weekend.

Mrs. BCC and my son will hopefully pick up our adopted Cockapoo at 4 pm today - photos to follow!
