Just dropped in to check on the DRIFT, ladies and gents. I've been super busy with work and expect to be so for the next week or two. I have a lot of catch-up reading to do! Drift on!

Took the granddaughter to the Turkey Hill Dairy museum where you can make your own ice cream and invent your own flavor. Of course with the rain today the place was packed and we didn't get to do that:rolleyes: She did get to eat ice cream though before dinner.;)
We went to a Cajun restaurant near here in the town of Columbia, the food was fantastic.
I had this Cajun Taste of the Swamp Combo which had gator, frog legs, crawfish, shrimp and catfish and we can't forget the hush puppies. The dinner was fantastic and I started off with some sautéed gator tail.
I've been aching for some worthwhile cajun food and I believe I found the place for it! now if only they made gator stew and beignets I'd be happier than a pig in mud!
Got the granddaughter to eat a piece of gator but she didn't like it!:)she had your basic cheeseburger and was happy!

Prudhomme's Lost Cajun Kitchen, a little bit of cajun in Pennsylvania, PA

I'd really like some Beignets though!

I'm glad my wife wanted to take the granddaughter to the dairy place or I probably never would have tried this restaurant. It may not be true cajun as in NO but it's close enough to satisfy me! We will be going back!
Now where's that Alka Seltzer? :D

Hello and howdy, fellow Drifters.
I did it.
Took me a whole hour, but I read all the pages I missed since my last post.
Which was over a week ago. 6/17.
Wow. 10 whole days. That's a loooong time ago.
Lotta good posts!!! Good to see those who were under the weather are healing,
and those who went on adventures, near or far, are safe home.

OK. That task being accomplished, now it's time for sleepy night-night.
It's rainin'. Nice gentle rain. Not like Tuesday, when we got two inches in less than an hour.
Well, this is good. I don't gots to waters de gardens tomorrow.
Mebbee I'll take pics of my new babies. A riffle, a wheelie, and a semi.

Sleep well. Dream good dreams. See you on the morrow.

(It feels good to be back :D)

What a loss when that young man died! One of the greats, and that's not the best I've heard him do.

When he and his brother played together, they burned down the venue.

Almost every electric guitar is shipped with either light or med/light (.009 to .042 or .010 to .046) strings. Stevie strung his with .013 to .056's. At standard (A440) pitch, that's like trying to bend arresting cables. I bet he could crack walnuts with his pinkies.

He da man!
