Just got home before the goblins etc. Hope we get some trick or treaters ,the weather is not great. When I was a kid Halloween was the best holiday!
Happy Halloween. Don't do the handin' out candy bit anymore.
After the 11 year olds, two girls, one boy, dress up as two "working girls", and their "manager", respectively, I just gave it up.
Have a super All Hallows Eve. I'm going to go back to stirring my cauldron.
And sipping my shot of whiskey.

My wife made a few mods to her Harly for Halloween
Busy day today.
After a breakfast of my wife's yummy whole wheat pancakes and some thin sliced and cast iron pan cooked Spam.
Had a fellow stop by, pick up a knife sheath and drop off a knife for another sheath. Workin' on a holster at the same time.
Then the my wife decides to get the sewin' caught up. That's groovy 'cetp the sewing machine's not working. I took the foot switch apart, cleaned and adjusted the contacts. That did it.
Ok, time to get ready for the trick or treaters.
From back when I did some effects for basement budget horror movies, I still have a skeleton and a hanging man. Both are getting a bit ragged.
The skeleton needed help. So, I spent some time with an awl, some blind cord and superglue. Got him put back together.
We had a snack then set our front porch up. I worked up a sweat sweeping the leaves from our porch and front walk.
Had my camcorder set up. I'm uploading right now.
Now the sewing's done. The guys are put away for the year and my wife's started the washing.
We had a chicken caesar salad for supper and I'm considering myself done for the day.
Well, 'cept for some dye work so I can get some burnishing done tomorrow.
Anyway, I need a little drift time.

On one of my last jobs before retiring, the crew decided to dress in costume for Halloween. I thought it was kind of silly, so I wore black shoes and socks, black slacks, and an open-collared short-sleeved white dress shirt. I told everybody I was a Salvation Army motor pool sergeant.
