Good morning all!

It's 72 degrees and balmy here in Houston. We should see a high of about 78, but storms are to start moving in after noon and chances of sever weather go up as the day progresses.

I'm out of here in a few minutes for a 5 to 6 mile walk and will swing back by for a pit spot around 7:00. Then I'll head out again to cast my vote in our local runoff elections. I have a holiday party to attend later in the day. I will attend regardless of the weather, but I'm afraid the turnout may be low because of bad weather.

All of you have a great day!

I've never been able to use cruise control. Not that I want go too fast, but somebody ahead of me is riding their brakes for some unknown reason. Recent I've gotten a LOT of experience riding up a straight highway to the county seat about 30 minutes away and I can go almost the entire distance without haven't to reset more than once or twice. The interstates though, are impossible. You can't go for five minutes without something happening in front of you.
Electric Geisha automatically adjusts to the vehicle in front.

Who notes you still have to consider what's ahead and brake for lights. 2016 Subaru Outback, comes with it's own eyes!

Taurus settled a lawsuit, my big local GS just announced a Taurus sale.

Whose mind boggles at the coincidence. Applying more tea.
At first, Taurus wanted the plaintiff to just drop it. Afterwards, Taurus realized that this strategy was a tactical error.

The judge in the case expects a full recovery.

If this keeps up, it's going to be a long day. Prepare to groan often. Cue Lurch.

Is bad humor better than no humor? Hmmmm...I shall ponder.

Did you know that ponderosa literally means "heavy pine"?

Bonanza comes from the Latin (bonus) meaning "good." In Spanish it means "fair weather or prosperity." In the old west, it was used to indicate success in mining.

How did Ben Cartwright father three sons that bear no resemblance to him or to one another? And how inept were his sons with the opposite sex?
