Kahonies about the size of Basketballs. Craziest thing
i have ever watched Sports wise.

The race is held on an Island (hence the Isle of Man) moniker.
Being raced thru a town and also up a mountain included
in the course. Almost 38 mile course. Including hairpins.
The Top Class averages around 137 MPH.

sweaty check it out. The races are held last of May each
year.

Caught up all the pages I missed and my brain is spinning! A person can only drift so far in a period of time without suffering drift fever! Going to crash and get some sleep,still recovering from the holidays,some kind of bug,and a high speed road trip to go hunting! Drift on and be happy!

Yes indeed, Chuck, the Isle of Man TT is some weird & wild stuff. I wonder how many people have died there over the years. It is one of the most dangerous race courses in the world, held as you said, over public streets, some of them paved with cobblestones. When they are using the full course(Including the Mountain Course, which is sometimes fogged out)it is 37 miles long. I don't remember how many curves there are, but it's a lot! Imagine trying to set up a bike so that it's at it's best on so many different surfaces & configurations. Then trying to remember all those curves as a racer, so that you can make optimum time. It is an incredible race against the clock as racers are started individually. I sure would like to see one live before I croak!
By the way, those sidecar rigs you referred to are called "worms". I don't know why, you'd have to ask an Englishman.

Had to have a bit of chocolate cake so I decided to drift awhile longer! Cake does that to me. Haven't seen any drift of Rusty or bigride in my catching up has anyone else?

When i stumbled onto the broadcast a few years ago (I believe
on the SPEED channel), i was instantly enthralled. And i've
never been a rider !!!
They say there are several fatalities each year when they
open up the course for amateurs to run the circuit.
Which they do between quals. and races.
I've also read where some are saying they don't know
how many more times the races will see records being
broken because the riders are about at their maximum
right now just trying to process and react at the speeds
currently being ran. It's gotten so fast and these guys
can only do so much at the speeds they run it is pushing
human capabilities. I guess you can always keep improving
the bikes and making them faster year to year but the
brain can only facilitate so much. Like trying to play a video
game turned up to the impossible level speed wise.

I only saw the first 'Airplane' movie. I do remember him in the "Naked Gun" movies. I also know that I can't watch them anymore.
Funny movies but they need to put out an edition with O.J. edited out so as not to ruin the rest of it.

Seeing all the race bikes is nice but it makes me remember that I am old and my reflexes etc. aren't what they used to be. The speed rush of high performance bikes can't really be matched by any other machine. Fighter jets might be close but you are too isolated from the environment to truly feel the full sensation of the experience. Drift on!
