Good afternoon my fellow drifters!....Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!
Sunny and 51 degrees in my neighborhood.
Just spent a good bit of time with a contractor to see about getting my deck redone / refinished. After about 22 years of good service it needs some face lifting and upgradingThinking about using that composit stuff, less maintenance for me and the next guy! Anyone here use the stuff and what are your thoughts?
It's funny how my deck has withstood the test of time but no longer meets the current code, funny thing is though when this was built it was built better then their code requires today....go figure?I guess Township Engineers and their ilk know better.....Noooot!
Since I am repairing and not building I don't have to deal with them!
Time to go and get some lunch....I worked up an appetite talking to this guy!

We replaced our deck last fall. Standard 4x6 posts, 2x6 uprights for the hand rail and 5/4 decking, all treated lumber. Turned out great. Still need to treat it with something after the wood dries out. They suggested we wait a year but I'm getting anxious.
bigride,,,
WTS/WTT: Whole lot of nothing AS IS BNIB. This nothing is mint with no pitting or rust. Comes with all original accessories and owner's manual. Must see to believe. Definitely collector grade. Don't miss out on this nothing of a lifetime. Will trade for something, preferably something with trade value greater than nothing. Cash price is a lot plus shipping and insurance OBO.
Per forum rules, first "I'll take it" followed by PM makes the deal. Don't let nothing get away. You won't regret giving me something for nothing.
Caveat emptor.
