Good evening drifters it's 72 degrees here in the desert this evening. It was another great day in the desert today a little breeze and not too hot just around 91 so not too bad for this time of year.

I mentioned yesterday about the reporting of armed cartel people coming across the border here in AZ and someone asked how close this was to where I am located. It's just the next county over from where I am and it wouldn't surprise me if some of these people end up in Phoenix. Phoenix is a big distribution point for the drug trade in this country as well as the illegal alien movement. There are arrests every day in our area concerning these subjects. There is also a shooting almost every day in the Phoenix area with more often than not someone dying as a result. I live about 50 miles from Phoenix and we don't have much trouble out here cause there's nothing out here but cactus and lizards. Most of this stuff doesn't make the national news just the local news reports. There's a lot more I could add to this but it would get political and that would just get me dinged so I won't go into it. I don't like dings.

Good morning all. I checked the National Weather Service page for my location and it showed 79 degrees and 90% relative humidity. I went outside to verify, and yep it's a wet sauna out there. This is where 60 years of acclimation to Houston summers starts to be fun. People are going to say... ghee it's hot. I'll reply, in two months you will think this is cool. Yesterday I came across a possum on my scouting mission and interrogated him in case he was a spy for the flightless bird hoards. He assured me he was an egg eater and firmly on the mammal side of the fight. Nice guy, he had a neat little foil hat on too. It's time for me to get moving, walking, scouting, and sweating. I'll be back by 7:00 CDT. Each of you have a great day!

Today will be hot and sunny in beautiful St. Augustine, I have much work to catch up, wife going to Doctor and then to provide tech support to friend with the Windows 10 virus. Why MS is forcing W10 on the innocent I do not know. Poor woman lost her IE for the new Explorer and needs help to find it. Disproof of the power of curses: If it worked at all Bill Gates would be a small pile of ash.
Note: be wary of the last W7 update. If you use file explorer in the Libraries directory, it will list ALL files in the sub folders as if they were in the root folder. This has led me to remove files thinking they were in the wrong folder. Much had to be restored.

Who will be back in the tech support by phone business, where I closed out my career last year, when my wife calls from her friends house to find the iexplore program.

Nice ride BCC! Those guys go through a couple of sets of tires when they do exhibitions and they are not using cheap ones. Local news is showing pics of all the kids who have just vanished in the area. No clues, they are just gone. The number of missing sure seems very large even for a city the size of Houston. Drift on!

Good Morning drifters!
64° here, 98% wet!
Under a dangerous thunderstorm alert! 😛
Worst appears to be going west, but there are some cells trying to line up for us.
Horses will be unhappy as today appears to be a barn day.
Be than lightning exposure out in the pasture! Yesterday my lightning app showed 0.2 mile was the closest strike, but I already had them in the barn.
Today a trip to the dental hygienist, then to PT. Wife is most likely staying home because of feeling crummy the past few days. Trying to decide on which health insurance option for us when she retires. Her easy, she will!get a very reduced supplemental through her employer. I am the hard one with a great need and will have to foot the cost.No choice as some of my medications are expensive!
Old vwell, starting to sound like a old ladies coffee clache? Want to hear about my gallbladder, maybe my bunion, or did you see Mrs. Jones, can't keep her window shades down! 😝

Good morning drifters. It's 62 degrees in the desert this morning on the way to another beautiful day in the desert. The sun is shining as it is supposed to do and that is a good thing. The weatherman/woman/person says we should be below 100 through the first few days of June and that is unusual for us. Must be all that global warming/climate change stuff.

Had another shooting incident last night in the Phoenix area with some nut standing on the side of the road shooting at people and cars. A couple of people reportedly hit but not serious several cars with bullet holes. It took a few hours to find him and then it was the K-9's that found him. When the police got to him he was in the fetal position and had to be taken to the hospital for dog bites. Good boy, good dog, good boy. It's reported he had an AR 15 type rifle.

Myself, I don't speak possum. Racoon or ferret only. Some groundhog, but that is a fairly simple language, idiomatically. Or is that idiotically? Most all groundhogs ever say is "Leave me alone!" The point of this post? Never wait too late in the day to take your meds...

Kwselke where did you learn to speak possum?

Ah... during an alien abduction on the Planet Zorgon I learned the Zorgon Mindmeld. It was either that or the probe, and I did not want the probe. I saw that possum again this morning. He was eating a bag of Cheetos. He said this guy is the leader of the flightless bird hordes. I think he just wanted me to buy him more Cheetos. There is no way he could be the mastermind.
