Not everyone. Those look like a perfect compliment to the salsa and humus in the fridge. With everyone on a diet I guess nobody cares what the new flavor of chips I got this morning taste like?![]()
Sorry KW, only eat one kind of potato chip and they're still fried in lard!
And they're salted just right!

...Friend just brought me fresh shrimp from the Gulf so I guess I will cook them up this weekend. Long weekend and I am not going to do very much but take it easy if allowed. Let everybody else fight the holiday crowds and roads. Drift on!
Waiting for the ferry from Homer to Kodiak AK, got invited to the fisherman's potluck supper in the marina parking lot. Shrimp, crab, and halibut cheeks with copious amounts of beer. Some of the best post-fishing feasts ever involved a couple of bags of FRESH Gulf shrimp.
Mmmmmmmmm.............cheeks !
Also brought a smile to a grandma in SC. Thanks. We have fun every where we go!

Nothing to report - followed ship's routine. News did arrive from Okinawa and it is not all good. Our friends, destroyers Callaghan and Cassin Young, were hit by kamikazes on July 29 and 30. Callaghan was sunk while Cassin Young's repairs were not completed until long after the war. There still is no real defense against the suicider. Those ships were first line vessels.
