I know this is heresy but am I the only one in the world that doesn't care for pizza? I know I'm in the minority but just had to ask.

I will admit that I'll eat a slice if it's all that I'm offered at a dinner or something but in MY world it's not something I want for dinner or I want at all.

People are astounded that I don't like pizza so I'm ready for all the flames and let them begin!

I would much rather have a burger, steak, taco or even a simple order of french fries or a good hot dog over all the pizza I could eat!

I was invited to a special dinner years ago for close friends and when I arrived they announced they were waiting for several pizza's to be delivered. I politely said I had to go to the bathroom and I snuck out the back door and went home.

I was amazed that folks would invite people to a big shindig and have PIZZA!

Pizza is okay I guess but if I had to choose, ANYTHING would be better than a pizza.

Let the flames begin!

Now LIVER I can understand... but PIZZA..

I would say you might be in the minority.. but I'm sure there are others who feel the same... :D

I've been to many events where pizza was served...obviously not formal dinners! :D Most people like it, it's convenient and easy to serve, inexpensive, and easy to clean up.

However, since having surgery on my stomach a year ago, I don't do well with pizza (or thick breads of any kind.) I can eat the toppings, however. My wife and I were in CiCi's the other night, and I was eating the toppings and leaving the crust/dough as I usually do. The manager came by and asked me if I'd like to try a crustless pizza, and I said sure...they had developed this mainly for those on low carb diets. He brought me a foil pan with sauce, cheese, and toppings, no crust. It was really good, and I didn't waste all those crusts.

Now, sushi...yuck.

I eat about half of one a year. They taste pretty good. Anything with that much grease and salt probably would. I can't think of anything much worse for you.

I didn't like pizza until my Mom asked me what I didn't like that was on a cheese pizza.
Ask yourself the same question.
I thought about it for a second and took a bite and have been making up for lost time ever since.
A good Cheese Pizza will tell you how good the baker is.Then toppings are fun.
One step at a time, you'll be OK.Contact me if you need a support group.I know where the best Pizza is in So.Fla.

No flames here. That's just more for me.

Pizza is the perfect food; it contains elements from all the food groups, plus plenty of salt and grease, essential for the maintenance of weight and blood pressure.

A real NY pie with some fresh mozz, thin crust, real tomato sauce, basil, and baked in a REAL pizza oven is a completely different food than the 'pizza' most americans consider food.

If Dominoes was the only pizza available, I would indeed hate pizza ... but a REAL pie is something to die for.

I think you have it confused with Irish coffee, which contains alcohol, caffeine, sugar and butterfat, which is to say all the major food groups but chocolate. Now THAT is close to the perfect food.

Pizza is not on my regular menu plan --- I consider it to rank just above MREs in desirability, sort of emergency food when other options are exhausted or unavailable. Fortunately, on those rare occasions when it comes under consideration, such as when returning late in the evening after days on the road, with uncertainty about the frig contents and no culinary ambition, there's a local place that makes a thin-crust, "individual deluxe" 10" pie of high quality and toothsome toppings. I feel guilty making a meal of it, but it tastes great, is inexpensive, and can be ordered ahead by cell phone, for pickup at my precisely estimated ETA. I guess it won't hurt me to make an occasional "emergency" (or lazy) meal of it...

We love baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet. Oh and Piiiizzzzaaaa!!!!!

You are not alone - I cannot even think of pizza without feeling nauseous. Garbage on a crust.

I knew this would bring on the controversy so let it come!

Was expecting more of this! :)

Pizza Infidel...

I LOVE liver and onions and would take that over pizza anytime. I guess I am an infidel!

To YOU! :) To DIE FOR is good liver with bacon and onions, fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, good biscuits and gravy or chicken and dumplings!

Boy, you guys are easy to deal with! Pizza, yuck! :)
