Counting down the hours now, till I'm a Shield owner

I'll have to update my family photo - adding the M&P Shield on Payday March 26th. I have a nice collection that covers everything from a lite pocket carry LCP to the AR 5.56 platform in an M&P 15T, but I don't think I experienced as much anticipation as I have felt for this Shield purchase. I don't know why.

My next purchase looks to be a Walther CCP 9mm that my wife wants for her Birthday in May. After that I would like a single-action cowboy style revolver, which has been on my bucket list since my first set of cowboy cap guns back in the 1960s.

Unless your Wife has already shot both and said she actually prefers the CCP, don't be surprised if she falls in love with your new Shield and forgets about the CCP.

I had thought my wife would love my Shield but doesn't care for mainly how it fits her hand and the heavy spring racking the slide. She bought a CCP as soon as we could find one and she loves it. I like shooting it too but I prefer my Shield much more as it fits me perfect.
