Less spent on ammo leaves more for greens fees, and no shortage of golf balls.

"Interesting..... And here, I always looked at a Golf course as the waste of a perfectly good rifle range." Same here. I was never addicted to golf; couldn't grasp the concept. Why pay good money to walk across someone's pasture for a few hours? What is the thrill of hitting a ball 100 yards and then chasing it? Isn't that what a dog is for? And, ball washers? No thanks.
Just bought a Shield EZ 9mm. I did my homework as to what gun would be best for both my wife and me to use for target shooting and home protection. The price was higher than some sites had been quoting last year. I assumed that was because of the election outcome. What I failed to do my homework on was how available the ammo was for this gun. Quite an eye-opener after the purchase. Finally found 50 rounds at $.93/round (Includes S&H and Tax)on line. Hope the price comes down or we won't be target shooting as much as we planned.
Just like the four other shortages here's what to do .
Production will catch up with demand ... at some time maybe a year .
Dealers will be awash in ammo , primers and powders that no one wants to pay high prices for ... maybe 2 or 2 1/2 years .
The dealer's will start having sales... they can't afford to have all this unsold inventory just sitting around ...trust me I've seen it happen time and again !
During the sales , when prices are somewhat normal , stock up ...
Stock high , wide and deep ...because during the next election , 4 years from now , it's going to happen all over again ... So put your Scout hat on and be prepared for it ...
My crystal ball doesn't lie ... You been warned... next presidential election ... trust me !

It's a social mixture of meditation, long-range target practice with open sights, and hiking. And for me, it's very convenient, three minutes from my home, and run by a nice bunch of guys. What's golf ?
It's amazing how polite everyone can be when the presumption is everyone else is armed...![]()

There's this thing called 'reloading' I'd be out of business if I didn't make them myself. I'm making 200 rounds of 9mm now.

I don't know...
Golf seems a little too crazy for my tastes...
Good point, however, I think it is just a different class of people.
Try to buy any primers recently?
Whether you reload or shoot factory you still need to stockpile to avoid shortages. Reloading makes stockpiling less expensive but you still need to plan ahead.
