I have an old soft sided Armadillo Pistol Bag that I use when taking just a couple of handguns. When I take three or more I use a Pachmyer Gun Box. The Armadillo Bag is over 30 years old and the Pachmyer Gun Case is even older.

I am the guy who carries everything but the kitchen sink to the range. I've worn out more range bags than I can count. Found this GPS Handgunner Range Pack and it is amazing. A little pricey but it is great. Only mod. I've made is to the high density foam 5 pistol divider in bottom center. I took a large sharp kitchen knife and cut it into 2 sections so if I only need to take 2 or 3 pistols, I only use the appropriate section and then have the remaining space for ammo. A ton of pockets to keep everything organized. Even has it's own rain cover incorporated into the top pouch.

I'm an "everything but the kitchen sink" guy too. Rarely do I use my bag for pistols, unless I'm just bringing one. It goes into a rug and then the range bag. Usually I take more than one or rifles. I've fiddled with various range bags and settled on Uncle Mike's Side Armor Equipment Bag. It's big enough for my "stuff" but not so big to become unwieldy. Uncle Mike's offers other bags in the Side Armor line that might suit you better. Good quality at a reasonable price.

I bought a $40 large range bag from Walmart that I've used for 3 or 4 years now. It's the "Fieldline Pro Series Deluxe Range Bag" and they still carry them. It's well-made - I've stuffed it with 5 or 6 guns, magazines, several boxes of ammo, etc., and it handled them just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I have a range bag that’s branded “Michaels of Oregon”, But I believe it’s an Uncle Mikes product. It’s very well made and it has held up well over the 15+ years I’ve owned it. It has a shoulder strap and 2 large side pockets one of which holds a built in pistol rug. It’s got plenty of space for all your typical range gear plus guns and ammo.

I use a common backpack that doesn't attract attention, but when I carry a rifle or a shotgun I use the carrying case according to the size of the weapon.

I have a 1990's large Midway bag that is showing its age on the interior, Midway's newer large range bag with exterior pockets, and a 1992 Pachmyer 4-gun pistol box. Targets, pasters, stapler, staples and tape are carried in a 'Brownells' handout bag from an NRA Convention.

I bring the bag that matches what I'm shooting, rifles or handguns. Ammo is carried in the "container of the day".

$5 from Harbor Freight.

I have two nice Dillon Precision bags and another nice one from Midway.

When I go to the range I end up packing 2 to 3 handguns and all gear/ammo in a canvas tool bag from Home Depot as well.

The cat really loves sleeping in the Midway bag!
