There is a deal but it only addresses about 1/3 (maybe a bit more) of the surplus that is being produced, and it is said that:
The "cuts" are naturally going to happen anyway because of sharp drop in demand.
The "cuts" will be phased in over a 12-month period.
The "cuts" may last 18 months.

The cheapest gas near me is $0.99 which is up from $0.89 last week but Premium is a LOT higher for my wife's Infinity.

As of this morning, and in my immediate area of San Antonio, it is still in the mid-$1.40s range.
It won't matter as long as they keep people home. It is fixed per gallon so no usage means no tax revenue.

PA is way ahead of you on that one as we have the highest gasoline tax in the nation. We're number 1!
The lowest I saw for regular was $2.09 after reading that gas was under a dollar some places. I don't think that could ever happen here as the taxes alone are probably that much if all added together.
