When it comes to funerals, music, etc., we can all say whatever we want to say and insist on whatever we want to insist upon, but the surviving family members will make our final decisions about everything. That's just the way it is. In fact, that is how is should be. The funeral is for those who live. It should meet their needs. Once we are dead, there is no reason what was once our needs should come first. It is a time for the family to deal with their loss.
When I die I won't be there.
It is the world that will end...for me and all of us.
When I die I won't be there.
It is the world that will end...for me and all of us.
Has anyone given thought to the music at their funeral?

Growing up Dad played the piano & organ. Constantly revving the volume pedal on the organ was about as annoying as anything could be.Like living in a roller rink. Silent night at Christmas & the rally diddy during sports events was all I could play, or care for. I could listen to a piano all day, no problem.
