I Am 75

Birthday today and I had no idea I would ever get to be this old. I am from the 2nd year of the baby boomers. My class went through our school system like a goat through a python. We were almost twice the size of the class before us. Subsequent classes got bigger for a few years and then there was a big drop off.

We were children of the 60's. Forty Six boys in my class and 36 in the military with 16 in Vietnam. We all came back, but some damaged. Ten are deceased, 6 of them Vietnam vets. Various cancers and ALS took their toll. One died of his wounds, it just took 40 years.

I have a daughter who was born with Spina Bifada due to my exposure to Agent Orange and I had a bout with prostate cancer 15 years ago.

I have been married to the same woman 52 years next Monday. I have had a pretty good life. I have a few very close friends and I have made many friends here and through the SWCA.
