Brylee had her first day of Chemo Therapy and it went well. The doctor's said that the Tumor is all ready shrinking. She was in Good spirit's and did not get sick from it. Her spirit's are high and she never lost that smile. She will get more today so we are keeping our finger's crossed that the tumor keep's on shrinking and that she is not in Much Pain from this procedure. Regards, Kurt

Brylee is in her second day of Chemo Therapy. They will be doing three more day's of it then she will be able to come home for a break from it all. It is working so Far they say that it is all ready reducing the size of the tumor. I am sure she will get sick from it all in time but for now she is a fighter and not showing any sign's of being sick. Regards, Hammerdown

We have recently recieved some Donation's from the S&W forum Members here. Bless your Heart's all it really humbles me getting Monatary help from people that I do not even really know. As you can Imagine This Current situation has jacked the cost up for all of the family involved here, and we have no choice but to pay it Gas alone is killer enough with all of the running around that we have to do. We Travel to our Kid's House 15 Miles one way Twice per day to let out their dog's, check on their cat's, Feed their fish and such. I can tell you it was a Lot easier when I was Younger than it is now but being the Grandpa and the Old man in the family it is my Pleasure to pitch in in any way, fashion or form that I may have to as I am the leader of our small family. Our Kid's are buying extra groceries to feed them self's while Brylee get's her Chemo-Treatment as Hospital food and drink's are sky high, so all donation's really help the entire family. Thank's all for the continued support, Many act's of Kindness, prayer's and donation's as they really help us out and Touch our Heart's in these Very Trying times. Regards, Kurt

Hello All
Brylee has started her second round of Chemo Treatment's this week in the hospital here in Knoxville. This round has hit her hard and has made her sick to her stomach repeatedly. Her hair is falling out now, but her sprirt still remain's very high as she has never lost her famous smile. My wife and I are very busy watching the two new born twin's as well as our three year old granddaughter and our Kid's two dog's so we have our hand's full at this time.



My wife got to visit Brylee yesterday as I sat in our SUV and baby sat the other Grand kid's. I hope to see Brylee today but we can't chance any germ's as Brylee's Imune system is down right now due to her Cancer Chemo Treatment's so that is why we kept the Other children in the vehicle as the Flue bug is running very high right now in that hospital so we have to visit her in shift's. She has about Four more day's of treatment before they will release her.




I can tell you that it is very Gut wrenching watching her go through these nasty cancer Chemo treatments. I for one, am very glad that she will not remember any of this due to her young one year old age. Once this tumor is of operable size, they have said that she will have to be operated on at Vanderbelt Hospital in Nashville,Tennessee which will seperate the family as that procedure is done. Thank's for the continued thought's and Prayer's she is sure a Little fighter. Regards, Kurt

I haven't been here in a while, but was a regular for quite some time in the past. Something made me stop by tonight out of the blue. just a feeling that I needed to be here. I am pretty sure it was because I needed to read this thread, so I could add my prayers for Brylee.

My family is going Through a really rough time right now. Our second Granddaughter Brylee Harper West who is Just 11 Month's old has been diagnosed with a very large tumor, & is in the hospital right now. Today we will find out if it is Cancerous but at this Point it Look's to be. If it is she will have to leave the Hospital Here in Knoxville, Tennessee to be Taken to Memphis, Tennessee which is 8 Hour's away from Knoxville, Tennessee for surgery. My wife and I are Taking care of our Three Year old Granddaughter Addison as well as two twin's Caroline and Delany of which were born a Couple of weeks ago so we are very busy right now. Please pray for our Little Granddaughter Brylee Harper West as she will be facing a Very serious hard surgery very soon. Regards, Kurt
