Notice with pet threads we have almost universal good-will, kindness and graciousness among our forum brothers and sisters. It looks like ice cream is another such topic that brings out the best in everyone.

All this talk about ice cream makes me think about my Dad. He was in the Army Infantry and fought in France, Italy, Austria and finally Germany. On the day uf cease fire he got bivouacked in some fancy castle-like house. He and some friends went on a mission and appropriated all the ice cream they could find. He ended up eating so much so fast that he lowered his core body temperature and got sick as a dog.
My favorite is 3 scoops. Chocolate, butter pecan and raspberry. The apple didn't fall too far from the tree.

We are planning on making a freezer full of Butterfinger ice cream for a Church Social, this coming Sunday after service. It's good stuff.

One treat I like to make is to take some vanilla ice cream, let it soften a bit, drizzle some honey over it, and then a light sprinkle of cinammon.

When I was about 20, one Friday night I ordered and ate a "Hot Fudge Kilimanjaro", 24 scoops of ice cream and of course Hot Fudge and whipped cream. I got them to make it with Coffee flavored Ice Cream. I didn't eat on Saturday or most of Sunday!
I could go for a smaller version right now!

Whatever, I use orange flavored Amino Energy and sparkling water. Delicious, with a caffeine boost!

And this is the season! We buy a lot of Schwan's frozen foods, and the "Orange Dreamsicle" vanilla/orange blended ice cream just became available - had a delicious dish of it last night.

I enjoy just about every flavor of ice cream. However, one of the most unusual was Creamed Corn Ice Cream...... Believe it or not, it's amazing!!

I may get blasted for this, but I can't stand any ice cream with mint in it, especially if it's mint and chocolate, i.e. mint chocolate chip. For some reason, the combination of mint and chocolate is just completely unpalatable to me.

My wife, the Michigan girl she is, must travel from our home in Florida to her hometown of Decatur, Michigan, every summer, just for a big scoop of "SUPERMAN" ice cream.
In my book that makes "SUPERMAN" the expensive ice cream in the land.

Yep! I looked it up: Superman ice cream...
That looks tasty and reminds me of Play-Doh..which I also find to be tasty.
