Was curious where you folks might go if you could move from your current location to a favorite place in the great USofA??

And if you were lucky enough that your significant other (if you have one) was all in!!!

I know a lot of us who enjoy the great outdoors would probably pick a favorite hunting/fishing spot......but some might be more into a vacation spot that has a warm sandy beach!

I have the great fortune of relocating this coming summer to one of my absolute favorite places, and yes, it's got great hunting AND fishing but also wonderful opportunities for snow sports, hiking and exploring.
And yes, my wife is all in which makes it even more special.

I'll reveal this place as I hear from you folks, yes it's remote and the closest Starbucks is a 2.5 hour drive away!

I would move to the mountains of Western Montana...

Oh, wait!
I did!

5 years ago my wife and I finally sold the ranch and got all our ducks in a row.
We both grew up in northwest Washington state.
We couldn't get out fast enough!
Never looked back and haven't gone back.

Sorry we're late Montana!
We got here as soon as we could!

The last best place

Sandpoint, ID.

I'm aching to get out of WA. Even though I live around people with values similar to my own, the Seattle area and their views dominate the state.

THREEDFLYER: I'll be interested to hear where you're headed!

We lived in the Seattle area for 30 years from 1986-2016
On the east side of lake Washington
Big changes there in those 30 years!!

We are happy where we are at.Our corner of SW Pa. has a low cost of living, people are still decent, lots of coal heritage in the area but slowly disappearing. We live at the foot of the mountains, good hunting and fishing.I hear folks say they want to leave, but many come back when they retire etc.We have a cabin and some acreage close by with a range. Pa.is still gun and class III friendly. We have a Dem.Governor(not for long hopefully) but House and Senate are Red.Not much traffic and fairly close to Pittsburgh if we feel the need.My wife is in Florida golfing, she was shocked since her last trip, too many people, traffic is terrible and they decided to scrap the trip to Disney due to cost, wait times, and sheer number of people after talking to friends who were there this weekend.I enjoy the area and people here,we have no plans to leave.
