Looks don't count for a lot with me. I rocked my glock with some after market goodies and added some XS sights, all myself. How many guns makes can the owner do that too? My 23 would be the last gun to leave my side.
To relate to trucks...
Glock is the Ford F-150
S&W is the Chevy Silverado 1500
Sig is the GMC Sierra 1500
Ruger is the Ram 1500
I love my Gen 4 19. Glock's design is functional nirvana. Well, cept for the grip.
I won't own one but that doesn't mean I don't think they'll fail to do the job they are intended for. I just happen to (1) dislike plastic (okay, polymer) pistols (I do have one and it's way better than a Glock because of reason number 2) and (2) I dislike their triggers, etc. I'll take traditional double action every time.
Just like an AK-47. I won't own one of those, either, but millions of folks love them and they are the rifle of choice for all of our enemies and have been for generations.
Two excellent machines that I happen to not like but that's totally personal and is in the YMMV category for sure.
If they're perfect, why do Glocks have so many generations?
Rumor has it, that's the ad for the G43 (probable name for the 9mm Single-Stack).BTW, on Twitter, @GLOCKInc has a tease for something new. Maybe it's another spring recall.![]()
My response to the topic of this thread.......I'M NOT!
I love working on Glock's. My last one was a 23 and replaced springs, pins, guide rod, trigger bar, just about anything I could that made it work and look better.
Well... Haters Gonna Hate. Thanks for your most eloquent and insightful reply. My response to the topic of this thread.......I'M NOT!
That's pretty much my response to Apex trigger kits and why I never got an M&P FS, or M&Pc.I'd never buy a new pistol that I had to do all that stuff to it just to "make it work better". What would be the point of that? That'd be a waste of money far as I'm concerned.
