In Search For The Perfect Grip For J Frame RB

I've tried almost all of them and nothing beats the Ahrends boot grip.
With 950fps 158gr Gold Dots, I can almost double-tap and still it's the least noticeable grip there is.
While you're calling Kim, ask him for a round butt grip for your K-frame and shoot double-action better than you used to.

I really like my Pachmayr Compac grips (with the little spot for the pinky). Yes they are a little longer than boot type grips, but they cover the backstrap with a lot of material (changes fit, be advised) which helps me with +P stuff, and they still are easily pocketable.

She uses it from time to time, but it finds it,s way in my pockets alot, Because it's so light!!
She realy likes the grips, I showed her the pic you sent, maybe I'll get my SPNY/SP101 Ruger Back from Her Soon.. It,s Nightsight needed replacement so I removed it & installed a factory one,& sent the sight to Trijicon, I also have another Red Fiber optic sight coming from Gemini Customs for it as well.. I may just put it in instead.. Wish The 442s front sight was replaceable..
I may have to buy A Titainium Centennial with replacable front sights..

c.cdlovejoy2,

those are really nice looking grips and that model 60 is set up nice too!! the fit on those grips appear to be very precise.

Nice grips, Headknocker. I just ordered a pair of black and silver, wood combat grips from S&W for my 340PD. If they weren't so expensive I would have ordered a pair for my 640 and 60 as well. Honestly, I really only need them for the 340. I have no problems with recoil on the 640 and 60. They handle fine with the uncle mikes boot grips.

Great Looking Mod 60..
Pinned barrel & Hammer mounted Firing pin..
What year was it made?
SWEET!! Love the Grips Too!!

Hey CD, nice grips! I'm partial to the wood bantams too.

I'm Looking for the best purchase on the Firearm + Least Recoil due to the Grips..
I also want the grips to be Black or not very noticable for Stealthness..[email protected]

Black Fitz Gunfighters, made out of Duramite, is exactly what I use on my 640-1. Work really well for recoil control and in cargo pockets & ankle holsters.

Contact Paul "Fitz" Jones at [email protected]. Paul still has a few NIB from long term storage.
