Just saw some toad on TV that said what makes the bushmaster particularly dangerous is because it has a pistol grip. WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT???
People that stupid should not be allowed to reproduce much less be on TV.

I tell this to people in California all the time when they **** about our state's "stupid" gun laws. "They" are not stupid. They know exactly what they are doing and they are doing it very well.

The agenda is the eventual disarming of the law abiding populace and the strategy is baby steps and let no tragedy go to waste.

I predict when the AWB (or worse) is passed it will be called the "Newtown Law" and politicians will be lined up to get in front of the cameras to fight back tears and proclaim this long overdue step to make America safe... and vote for me, BTW...

Facts are irrelevant...at least 51% of Americans are pretty dumb...

Their real goal is to eliminate the private ownership of firearms, thereby changing the equation upon which this country is based. That is, to shift sovereignty from the people to the government.

I think, unfortunatly, you put the finger on it....This insane tragedy should be the start of a new area for guns law in USA. All that time the antiguns have had the finger on the trigger, now they have to shoot ! You will be lucky if you only get an "AR" ban !

What's frustrating is the nonsense being pumped into every home in America via the television and computer, radio as well. That the hardware is the problem, and the hardware has to go.

This is a mental health issue and it's a morality (lack there of) issue. If they banned stuff using the reasoning thats being applied to firearms, then there would be no cars, no doctors, no drugs, no fastfood, no video games, the list goes on and on.

Regarding social media, my wife and I both have many, many liberal friends. Yet I'm supposed to bite my tongue when every hippy should be heard on facebook? Why is it so important for me to know or hear everyone else's opinion via social media.

AND I can not believe that the message that is out there is what mainstream America wants. Of course that is what the media wants you to believe, that this is what mainstream America wants.



Ok, what can be done to prevent the ban that is swarming the airwaves?

Washington can't pass anything but I will guarandamntee you they will ram rod some very bad gun legislation through asap. It's really pointless since so much is already out there and will not stop the next maniac who can steal a rifle. What I think we all could get behind is legislation to get these dangerous people off the streets.

One or more anti's said more guns would not work, because all of the armed men at Fort Hood failed to prevent the death of those 13 people. They were too stupid to realize that it was a military area, where the law abiding men were not allowed to carry their weapons. They showed how stupid they really are, and provided a case where more guns would have helped, all in one shot (pardon he pun).

In other crazy news, the BBC reporting of events in CT correctly described the primary weapon as a semi-automatic rifle modeled on the M16. Colour me amazed.

I have heard three of four different stories. Initially I heard the there were two shooters, and that a second person was arrested at the scene. Then I heard that there were two handguns found in the school, and were the weapons used. Then I heard that the Bushmaster was found in the trunk of the car owned by Lanzas Mother. Then I heard that the Bushmaster was the primary weapon used.

Personally, after "Fast and Furious", I have a very hard time believing anything about this shooting that has been put forth my the MSM propaganda machine, as they and the administration have an agenda, and any narrative that contradicts that agenda, even if true, is likely to be discarded and/or not reported.
