finally got my magpul rail covers/ reflex sight/ and MBUIS...as soon as i get them setup i will post an update
Latest config used for a recent tactical rimfire match. GripPod worked great for a prone stage; 4X Acog clone up top. Behind is its big brother, a LWRC M6A2 (16.1") with a Vortex Viper PST 1-x24 MOA scope and a Samson 11" Evolution Rail.

UPS man brought more goodies this week...Magpul XTM rail covers ( one more set backordered
) Magpul MBUS sights and a Reflex sight....built my sling from scratch
Next addition will be a Tacticool shroud--ordering next week!

Thanks to Belt_Fed I am off to a great start, but no where near some of these.
I have more rail covers on the way, and am still looking for a vertical/fore grip I like.
The shroud is a one-off design from Belt_Fed and it is awesome. The flutes on the sides were not done by a computer, but they are perfect. A real testament to his skill.
I have been practicing a lace technique, but am nervous about taking the next step and painting my gun. Once I get that perfect, I'll add the paint and post more pics.

I have finally got around to fixing mine up. Started out as the regular version with Flash Hider. I should have gotten the Magpul version, but they didnt have it at the dealer I got, oh well. I put on a Magpul MOE stock, the Magpul Grip, Magpul AFG, Magpul Rail covers (still deciding if I want to go Checkered or all Black, what do you guys think?), Bushnell Tactical Elite ACOG clone (illuminated Red/Green T-Reticle RDS) and a Tacticool22 Long Threaded Barrel Shroud. I couldnt be happier with the rifle, it shoots accurately as could be with good ammo, and is a pleasure to look at. Just today, in the hour I was shooting it, i had 3 people come up and ask me about it and 2 wanted to shoot it (i let them of coarse). I got all the Magpul stuff at a store that was sadly going out of business and it was all 50% off, I couldnt really complain about a $30 MOE stuck and such.

I personally like a little color on my guns. All black is cool but to me can get boring and plain looking. But.... everyone has their own opinion. Do what makes you happy! Nice rifle!

After almost 3 long months....
my baby has arrived! Had an MOE on backorder for 3 months until I got a call that one of the shops other disributors had a few TALO's in stock. The centerpoint red/green was put on as a temp. But if I like it after the riser I ordered shows up it may just stay. Shoots like a dream too!

Hey all, been lurking for a while now and Just signed up. I bought my M&P 15-22 about about a month ago now. So far Ive added a NCstar quick detach piccatiny rail, Tasco 3-9x-40mm scope, Tapco handguards, and an extra 25 round magazine. I prefer to shoot federal bulk packs (550cnt) from walmart for cheap target shooting, and I love the CCI stingers for Varmint hunting / longer range target shooting. Heres a few pictures of it!

What do you think of that scope you have? I think it looks sick and maybe just what I have been missing. What did u pay for it?

Kennedy is my 9 year old, whose been shooting .22 pistol since last year. She liked this so much I agreed to krylon some easily replaced parts....just had to share and brag
as you can see from the "Zombie-Bin-Laden" target, she does ok at 25 yards with the dot and magnifier (58 out of 60, you can see the two fliers at low right)
for those who might question:
1. She realizes zombies are figments of cinematic and literature fiction (she didn't want the dog-zombie target, cause it was too much like a dog) but knows it takes headshots
)
2. We discuss and stress the importance of weapon saftey at each outing, and she uses her own ears and has her own shooting glasses, bag, gear...
3. I thought with the dot, she would have more success and concentrate on breathing and trigger control/basics, then we can move on to iron sights in a year or so
I think she's pretty much done with this stick...she wants a VFG in pink when she's ready to try offhand...

That thar is some nice shootin girl. Those two flyers were only because dad was taking pictures. LOL. Good paint choice also so no boys will want to take your gun.

I absolutly LOVE it, i bought it used from a buddy, but it sells new for around $150 i believe. I honestly think its a bargain for how good it is, and for dual color illuminated t reticle. I have suggested it to more than a few people at my range whom when i have seen them a week or 2 later, they have them on their rifles now as well...
