And since I am in Cali I prefer the shorty mags (which I can't find enough of, always backordered).

We were rapid fire and doubletapping at the range, and didn't get in hot water because the groupings were so tight and consistent, although they did check to make sure it was a 22 like 30 times this weekend. I always get a lot of questions about it and people wanting to try a mag or two. Love this lil thing. Never had so much fun with a 22. Picked up 7500rds for it at the gun show :) And my buddy picked up an optics ready MP15 5.56/.223 for $899. It was a good show for accessories and stuff. I basically stocked up on ammo.

I've probably said this before, but I do believe this one's complete! Pretty happy with how it's set up now, and finally got around to getting a couple pics. The list is:
-
  • Magpul CTR stock with .70 rubber pad
  • Magpul Moe + grip
  • Magpul AFG2
  • Magpul Gen 2 Sights (real ones)
  • Tapco Intrafuse short vertical grip
  • NC Star flashlight mount
  • LED flashlight
  • UTG 1/2" rail riser
  • Ebay scope rings
  • Mueller APT 4.5 x 14 - 40 scope
  • Troy rail covers (2 1/2)
  • Grippppp things for the magazines

Looks good. Just not to sure on your rear sight placed the opposite way I'm used to placing them and the reverse direction of the scope mounts. But it works and looks like fun.

Thanks! I reversed the scope mounts so that I could keep the Magpul sights on the gun with the scope's eye piece right where I want it. As for the rear sights...it only goes one way as far as I know. Am I missing something? :)

Your rear MBUS is backwards, they are supposed to be mounted so that the sight flips up and forward. However, the aperture hole works the same from both directions, so it doesn't really matter. If that's how you like it, keep it.

Sup guys, alot of Nice set ups here. Hope to be getting Mine in the next few days.

Ha ha...have to admit, I didn't believe you. Looked at the "model" on the magpul site, and you're right! My apologies! :)
It just seemed to make more sense the other way, with the little circular Magpul logo facing me when I'm shooting. I'll have to try it the other way and see how it feels. Oops!

Like I said, it works the same both ways. Keep it how you like it, and don't let us change your mind!

Yep, some like it the other way, that's why I said the opposite way I'm used to placing them. But it looks good and will shoot the same. :)

Hey Triggs75, are you using a crush washer under that fake can? How far inside the handguard does it sit?

That is a CAR-1 right?

Mine should be here Monday.

Yes it is the CAR-1 and no crush washer. It sits about 1/4" inside the handguard, you'll be happy with it.

where do you guys go for these accessories? I love the set up on pretty much all these guns.

Thank you for the quick response. Can't wait to get mine and start adding to it. Love the ability for quick and easy customization.

And here's Priscilla (so-named by my girlfriend for having been 'always on my mind' while I was waiting for it to be shipped to the UK...):

Well I'm almost done. I'm just waiting on a red dot. I've heard so much great stuff about them so I decided to try a cheap utg one before I drop 500 on an eotech.

I have a Tactical rail mounted flame thrower for sale if you want one. They're kind of spendy because of the materials used. Orders take 3 months to complete.
