so if krylon fusion didnt work good, what did u end up using? ^ awesome by the way
Needs more whitebut I'm liking it
That came out great, white stock in ur future?
I like it with just the receiver in white and everything else in black.
Just finished Tactical Crayola on my M&P 15-22 came out awesome!!!
If you saw the recessed lettering up close you'd see why.
Well then!

I'm assuming you used some sort of brush for the lettering. How did you paint the letters?
From the teaser pics, it looks like it was sprayed and the lettering was scraped out to reveal the original black finish.
Correct!
It worked very well until the paint reached the chipping stage of curing.
I would imagine so. I got the MOE version and I went with the TactiCrayola and stayed with the tan color scheme. If I wanted to paint the letters without having to paint the whole lower receiver, how would I go about getting that detailed?
Well I really like what I did. Now I want something a little more permanent. Instead of Crayolaing them, I wanted to paint the letters. How would I go about that?

Testors model paint.
Instructions
-make a mess (the less the better)
-clean the mess everywhere but in the lettering
I did this on my AK since it gets a nice bath every time I shoot it. The crayon didn't hold up. It still looks nice and bright after two years of soapy baths.
