M&P 15 Sport-Any available or....?

I'M AWARE OF YOU!

:mad:After making recent posts on this blog I've had two occurrences of men coming to my home when I'm at work asking my wife bogus questions. One claimed he wanted to buy our van and yesterday three men in a car, two in front seat and one in back, stopped by. The man in back seat got out and asked my wife if we found a cell phone in our yard. My wife immediately thought both events were unusually and told me she will be talking to a police officer about these men. These events may be unrelated to this blog but they are definitely correlated. I can imagine how felons/drug dealers/criminals/etc are monitory gun blogs looking for an easy mark to get a free SA AR15. Don't know how they would get personal info.

My LGS guy says he sells them as fast as he gets them in. I guess those who put the Sport model down cannot say that about their more expensive AR's :D

Nothing wrong with being a little paranoid but I think you will find the events unrelated to your posts.

Ok... I don't know how to react to this, because I just can't tell.

Option 1 = Clever Joke : Funny one dude. That one had me laughing.

Option 2 = You're Serious: When surfing this forum, make sure to wear your tin-foil hat or else the admins can use their clairvoyant powers over the internets to get into your mind.

for that nut you can get a wide bit for one of the tools with the multibit sets and grind out the center. I have done it a couple of times for nuts like that.

I just ordered one today for $555 shipped to my FFL. At that price, it was all I could do to not order two! :)

TALKED TO STATE POLICE

Nothing wrong with being a little paranoid but I think you will find the events unrelated to your posts.

My wife spoke with State Police about men coming to our house and asking questions. The officer told her it would be a good idea to keep a gun nearby (gave her my J-frame) and if it happens again keep the dog (90+ lb boxer) with her and call the local police. Didn't intend to sound like a nut but gun thefts are a regular event in my rural county. The thieves are very slick and quick. They case an area, select a house, get inside sometime between 12 noon and before people get off work, take what they want, and get out without anyone noticing. Their prime targets are houses where both spouses work during the day.

A buddy of mine has his FFL. He is ordering me one at his cost - $521 plus shipping. I figure it will be about 550 plus tax.

I've been waiting a couple weeks so far. I'm a bit impatient but it will be worth it. The local gun store had one in stock for $679.

they havent stopped making them, there is such a back log of orders that the people who were first in line are the ones who are getting them.

Went to Buds about 3 weeks ago and saw one there. The NON-California Sport Model (the good one). Went back and forth for an hour or two and then decided why not and hit the purchase button.

GLAD I DID ! Immediately after my purchase the availability went to Out of Stock and they have not had them in since.

I got the last one for a while apparently and felt very fortunate.

Bud's came through in usual stellar fashion and processed the order quickly and I was a little bit afraid I might get a bottom of the barrel unit but as always, Bud's did me right and I got a first class, brand new M&P that performed flawlessly at the range (Thanks again Bud's !)

It's turned out to be all the AR I need and then some. Very, Very happy with the gun and Bud's service.

I bought my first Sport from Bud's Police Supply back in Jan for $535 shipped. I ordered another one last week from them for $555 shipped. It is supposed to be at my FFl on Tuesday. They aren't getting many in, but when they do, they go very fast. I had one in my shopping cart and I left to go to a meeting. I came back one hour later to complete the purchase and they were out of stock. Later that afternoon they had a few more in-stock & I got one of those.
