Minor rant about cylinder terms

Did the battleship Yamamoto in WW2 sink when it's clip was penetrated by bombs dropped by American aircraft? Nope. The bombs penetrated its magazine, a defined area and purpose of a military vessel.

The name of the Japanese Battleship was YAMATO. On April 7, 1945 she was sunk by American carrier-based bombers and torpedo bombers with the loss of most of her crew.

The name of the Japanese Admiral was Isoroku YAMAMOTO. Yamamoto (the man) was killed by P-38 Lightnings when he was visiting Bougainville, Territory of New Guinea, on April 18, 1943 when Rex Barber shot down the Betty in which Yamamoto was a passenger.

But what about when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?

After reading all the above 50 comments, I have concluded, its mid February, most of the country is under a winter storm warning, we are 12 months into a pandemic. And all the shooter are showing very server symptoms of cabin fever and range withdrawal symptoms. Looks like no one is out shooting their favorite handguns. I am confused on what to face, but most of you guy need to face the facts, you guys are bored to death and a waiting on spring and better weather so you can go shoot again. Don't tell me you loading the charging hole, I spent too much time around a few constructions sites and that term was a big notice to go hide for a few minutes. I know, we can not go to the reloading room, we would be using up all those components that are now more valuable that the gold, silver and stock certificates. What I want to really know is why two piece of wood slapped on a knife is called scales when we slap the same two pieces of wood on a pistol and call them grips? I grip my knives with the same hand I hold my pistol.

Cooner, sometimes the mysteries of life are better contemplated over a good bottle of 'shine. After a few swigs, even the most complicated of life's mysteries become crystal clear. Can I get an Amen on that?
