While I was looking at a couple revolvers at my local favorite shop he took in on trade, he also took in a Mod 41, 5.5in bbl, Blue old style Cardboard box, all papers, 6 mags, and it looked brand new. According to origional owner, he has only fired maybe a couple hundred rounds thru it. He is asking $749. for it, consigned price. I knew what new ones sold for in 07, but have not priced them lately. Any ideas on this deal. Are older ones bringing a premium compared to current production

If the good is in good shape, I think it is a great deal. Magazines are $25-30 a piece, IIRC. New Model 41s are $900+ and come with 2 mags.

There is no premium for older ones that i've noticed. The exception may be the long, adjustable weight barrel versions.

If you're looking for one & need all the spare magazines, then yes, it's a fair deal.
