I'm looking for a good pocket holster for a S&W model 38. I wear jeans , and need something that is going to resist moisture.
Any suggestions ?

That's a Galco Model PRO 158B. It also says D189L on it.

Also, I really like Remora pocket holsters. They can literally be used IWB as well, and that's how Remora sells them:

I'm not sure what you need in the way of moisture resistance but these non-leather holsters are likely impenetrable by moisture.

I have been very pleased with a Galco horsehide I bought used on the forum about 8 or so years ago. A 38 and a 642 have both ridden in it. If I lost it I would gladly pay the extra to get another just like it. The similar holster in cowhide, not so much. I've used the Nemesis and Superfly for autos but see no reason to use anything else for a J frame.

I'd recommend Aholster. I have Mika, Uncle Mike's, and others, but when I carry in pocket, it's mostly in the Aholster.

Don't know if they make one for your gun, but I have been 100% satisfied with a kydex Vedder Pocket Locker holster. Tried Desantis and others, but for me, the others weren't even close.

When I pocket carry its a Model 38, Model 49 or a Model 42.

I’m out of step with most on this board, but i don’t use a pocket holster. After trying a lot of them, I’ve concluded they add nothing for me but additional bulk.

When I pocket carry, the only things in my pocket are the gun and a handkerchief.

Folks imagine that there is a danger that something in a pocket might somehow get into the trigger guard and create a ND. That’s not possible if you carry nothing but the gun and a handkerchief in your pocket. Additionally, the double action trigger pull in a J frame is so heavy it can’t be done. When done properly, there’s nothing in the pocket to get into the trigger guard in the first place. These observations do not generalize to semiautomatic pistols: they are a different species of pocket pistols.

Folks also worry that an un holstered revolver (particularly the humpbacks) will gather lint and dimes in the action and bind it up. I’ve never seen this happen. Of course, I clean out my pocket before I carry. Whatever ambient lint may be in your pocket can’t interfere with the function of a humpback: it’s not physically possible.

Vedder Pocket Locker or Alabama pocket holster when carrying semi-auto. with a revolver it is a Mika.

I use a Milt Sparks pocket holster when I am carrying my 442........a great holster that will last a person a lifetime.

Another vote for Galco pocket holsters, I have one for my J frames and one for my G26, both get a lot of use

I have Mika and Kramer for different pistols. They both work fine. I have not worn jeans in years, but only use cargo pants and one in a while dress trousers.

leemar28 I too use the desantis pocket holsters for my 442 and 36.I also have one for my vintage cobras and detective special.Im sure the other ones mentioned here are great but the desantis is what works for me.My brother however prefers the don hume all leather model for carrying his model 442 and his 36s.Its like anything else use what works best for you and what best fits your needs.
