R.I.P. Zachary

I remember when we first got him.
We were at an animal shelter looking for a cat. My wife was wandering the cages going "aww" and I was leaning on another row of cages.
Zachary reached through his cage and tapped me on the shoulder.
He went home with us.

Natayo's moping around the house. A little while ago he was yowling mournfully down the hall.

Very sorry to hear about this, Snubby.

It's amazing and a true testimony to their worth how large a hole the loss of a cat or dog leaves in a home.

Condolences to you, Mrs. Snubby and Natty.

I'm terribly sorry, Snubby. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your wife, and Zachary's little buddy Natayo.

Natayo is grieving and lost, as I know you must be. Give him lots of extra love and affection and he'll repay it.

Rest, Zachary. You had a long, contented life with people who loved you very much and whose lives you enriched.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Losing pets is always hard for the ones who stay behind, but we will all be reunited someday. 'Til then, remember them with love.

When I met Mrs. Snubby, she had an old cat named Bluey. She was a grey tabby that looked blue under certain light.
Anyway, we got Zachary because Bluey needed to get some exercise.
After Bluey passed, Zachary was mopey and would walk around moaning mournfully.
Then one day, Natayo ran up to my wife and came home with her.
So, Zach. had his little buddy Natayo.

Now last night, after midnight, I was setting up a video to upload to my video channel. I swear I saw Bluey walk past. I even said, "Hi Bluey.'
I guess she came to take Zach. with her.

been there, done that many times... it never gets any easier... Despite being an old country boy.. I've gotten to the point I can't put down another pet... either they will pass on their own, or it'll have to be either the wife/the vet doing it from now on.

Sorry for your loss. Its tough. I know its going to be my turn (for my cats) real soon now. I've got them at 17, 16, 14, & 13 years old. All this time I comforted my self by thinking they'll live on forever. It doesn't happen that way. My favorite is the 14 year old. Every night before bed I pet her and talk to her. As a treat I give them a big squirt of whipped cream before bed, too. God its tough to lose one or even think about it.

I am so sorry for your loss. Pets are part of the family so I know it's sad. What a great life he had though and those memories of him will live on in your heart. He's now chasing butterflies across the rainbow bridge....

Its terrible losing a loved pet. My yellow lab Taz died last year, and I still get choked up thinking about him. He was 18 years old. My best friend. He passed away in my arms. Im sorry for your loss, and send you my best.
