For some reason this screen shot I snapped during our Skype conversation made me think of Star Trek

Looks like folks like the images I posted so here are a few more from around where I live.

The fighting cocks date to 2006 and the others date back to 69 to 73.

Nocturnal visitors at my gf's last night. She had seen three juvenile skunks in the garden and figured they were living under the deck. I lent her one of my trail cams and she set it up last night. Sure enough, they came out for a nibble :)

Fortunately her two big cats (Izzie and "Charlie of Epic Whiskers") seem to pretty much ignore them. If they don't move off on their own she's going to have to figure out how to get them to the Whatcom County Humane Soc. rehab. farm. I posted pics some time ago of the 5 little orphaned skunklets she found a few years ago. She scooped them up in a butterfly net, put them in a box and drove them over. Not gonna work with with these ones!

Here are 4 more images from my East Tennessee (paradise) archive.

For those that are wood carvers, the man with the motorcycle is a wood carver and the motorcycle is carved out of wood. I made the photo in the mid 90's.

The remaining photo's were from the early 70's.

Back in April, I made my fourth trip to the top of the Zugspitze, which is Germany's highest mountain. It is always breathtaking -- figuratively and literally -- to stand there, and look out over the vastness of the Alps, and contemplate the majesty and beauty of nature...

The Rotary Club, for a yearly $50 donation, plants a flag on my lawn for all days calling for one. Veterans Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, The Fourth, etc etc.

At my son's place on Long Island, they place flags on every other light pole.

The shape of things to come. General Dynamics won a 1.1 billion dollar contract to provide the USA with it's first "light" tank since the Cold War.
It's half the weight of the Abrams Main Battle Tank.

I don’t consider myself a nature or wildlife photographer but do enjoy shooting nature subjects occasionally. It’s a nice departure from the routine.

Please excuse if these images don’t open up very large. I’m pulling them from my photos on my phone.
