I would love some help in selecting a range bag. I typically carry more than one revolver, plus ammo, and other miscellaneous supplies to the range. That's a lot of things to juggle. I thought maybe a range bag would be helpful. I am assuming Coach does not make a ladies range bag :D I would like something with separate compartments for each revolver, and adequate space for everything else I would need to carry. Any and all help will be most appreciated.

I have a Compact Competition Range Bag that I bought several years ago from Midway USA, and it is a very sturdy bag with several compartments. They are on sale this month for $34.99. Get a couple of friends together to place an order and split up the shipping. You won't be disappointed.

I've tried every bag there is out there it seems. Cheap ones are, well, cheap.

The one I'm happiest with [Christmas gift from the mrs.] is the I-shot pro. I-SHOT, Range Bag, PRO SHOOTER

[not in any way affiliated with the company!]

Three padded sleeves inside for guns, a removable ammo carrier inside, lockable zippers, mag sleeves for eight mags in a side pocket.

Wears like iron, easy to lug around, spacious enough for just about anyone, I'd guess.

Very, very nice product...not the cheapest, but I've been using mine for over six years, and when cleaned up looks as good as new.

Go to a Military Surplus store and take a look around. I got a great range bag for $15 and never looked back. Not the prettiest and far from deluxe, but it gets the job done and its cheap.

Every since I bought one, I've recommended the Magnum Range Bag, available on S&W's site. Plenty of space, plenty of pockets, very sturdy & with a nice big S&W emblem on it. Whats bad?:D

The Voodoo Tactical Scorpion Range Bag is well made with a lot of great storage. If you look around you can get one for about $60.

I have the Midway Compact, its a good bag, size is right, quality is OK, a better constructed bag the same size and features is the Uncle Mike's - made of heavier cordura nylon, slightly better padding.

Both have interior pocket for two pistols.

Yet another vote for the Midway range bag. Mine is about 5 years old and still going strong. I got the big one when it was on sale. IIRC it should be about $45.

Anyone have any experience w the 5.11 tactical bags. Local gander has one im eyein up, its around $70 seems good quality.

Bought the large Midway bag on a whim--assumed it couldn't be that good at that price. However it really is a great bag--best value out there--and worth much more in my opinion.

I use a plastic tool box from Home Depot. The guns go in gun rugs to protect them and there is room for everything else I take with me.

We might have the same ones! :D In Kalifornistan we need to transport handguns in a locked container. Guns and ammo go in the box and stuff like eyes & ears, tagets, tools etc go in a cheapo range bag from Wally's.

I'm looking at some tackle bags. Large, robust, shoulder strap. And they have large rings on the double zippers. Believe it or not locking the zippers together on a canvas bag constitutes a "locked container" according to the law.

I just use a strong, generic, Plain Jane duffle bag with no brand name or logo on it. This way when I go for a bite to eat before or after a shooting session it does not get noticed when it comes into the Restaurant with me. I NEVER leave firearms in a vehicle. I have a Range Bag that I got from Colt years ago when they gave them away with a purchase of a pistol, but since it is emblazoned with their name & logo I never use it. It's kind of obvious carrying a bag with S&W or Colt on them and in these anti-gun times we live in (even though I am perfectly legal) who needs the hassle?

HAve the Midway MAgnum bag and very happy with it. A friend uses an attache case with good results for the two to three guns he brings along with targets and stapler and ammo. All goes into it very comfortably.

thank you all

I appreciate the input and researched as much as I could. Also watched a youtube video on the Uncle Mike's bag and that's what I ended up ordering. Thanks for the help .
