Where did he learn gun safety---from Alec Baldwin??

Yes he was, and of course they won’t...
My understanding is that he had offenses ranging from DUIs (one with possession loaded firearm while intoxicated), smashing his girlfriend’s window and threatening her, a felony burglary charge, and one from assaulting his grandmother (nice guy, huh...). Oh, and he has a sealed juvenile record.
Apparently, not an upstanding citizen, but I’m sure the media can help with his image/reputation. He’ll soon have some public squares named after him, and perhaps a statue/monument.
He should be extremely thankful that’s he still among the living...
There might be some hope for us yet! However, there are no winners here.
Rule 1: If you think you will need a gun, stay home. Don't cross state lines with a weapon to perform cop work unless you are a cop and actually have to.
Dunno. Not true here in NM, but all states are slightly different.
Remember that the Brown family won a civil case against OJ Simpson for wrongful death.

I think it came out that he was provided the gun after he got to Kenosha.
That's irrelevant. Both OJ and Kyle were charged with the local charge variants of murder and both were acquitted. 'Self-defense' is an affirmative defense, not a verdict. The jury only decides guilty or not guilty; a finding of 'not guilty' in a criminal trial is not a bar to bringing tort actions (for wrongful death) in civil court.I don't recall OJ claiming it was self-defense during his criminal trial.

Not accurate. He is not a convicted felon and had an expired concealed carry permit. He is reported to have an expunged felony and a misdemeanor alcohol/firearms related charge. He does have cases that were not pursued to prosecution from what I have read.
I think at one point he said his CCP was current now but was expired on the date of this incident.
he shot three convicted felons that went after him good luck with a civil suitThe jury has spoken.
I bet there will be no civil rights charges. He wasn’t operating under the color of law.
There may be a civil suit, but I doubt there will be a significant settlement.
I see he’s already got a tv interview booked, I think I might lay low for a bit.
Twitter has dubbed the prosecutors "Lunchbox" and "Dinger".
